Wire cover

A terminal cover () protects a terminal fitting () that has a barrel () crimped to a wire (W). The terminal cover () includes an accommodating portion () having a front opening (), and the barrel () is accommodated in the accommodating portion (). A lid () covers the front opening () of the accommodating portion (), and two pressing portions () project obliquely toward the barrel () from opposed left and right inner wall (A,B). The pressing portions () resiliently contact sides (A,B) of the barrel (). Each pressing portion () has a tapered end () inclined toward the front opening (), and the tapered ends () resiliently contact the sides (A,B) of the barrel (). The barrel () is pushed toward the front opening () and sandwiched between the lid () and the pressing portions () by reaction forces of the pressing portions ().
