An image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor; an exposure portion configured to include a substrate having a plurality of light emitting portions arranged along a rotation axis direction of the photoreceptor and exposes the photoreceptor to form a latent image on the photoreceptor; a development portion configured to develop a latent image formed on the photoreceptor with toner; an exposure duct configured to guide the airflow generated by a first fan along a longitudinal direction of the substrate; a development duct configured to guide the airflow generated by a second fan along the rotation axis direction of the development portion; and a first duct communicating with the exposure duct and the development duct, the first duct configured to exhaust air introduced from the exposure duct and exhaust air introduced from the development duct.

An image forming apparatus includes an endless image bearing belt, a first roller, a second roller, a rotatable member, a holding member, a feeding unit, and a guiding member. The guiding member is provided on a side downstream of the feeding unit and upstream of a transfer nip with respect to a recording material feeding direction at a position opposing a stretching portion stretched by the first roller and the second roller of the image bearing belt and guides a recording material, to the transfer nip, fed by the feeding unit. A fixing device includes a first unit including a first rotatable member, a second unit including a second rotatable member forming a nip with the first rotatable member, for fixing a toner image on a recording material, and a frame supporting the second unit. A guiding member is movable between a guiding position for guiding the recording material toward the nip, and a retracted position in which the guiding member is retracted from a space permitting demounting of the second unit from the frame. An image heating apparatus includes a belt member for heating in a nip an image formed on a recording material, an urging portion, contacting an inner surface of the belt member, for forming the nip, a guide portion, contacting the inner surface of the belt member at an end portion, for guiding rotation of the belt member, and a belt unit, including at least the belt member, the urging member and the guide portion, integrally detachably mountable to the image heating apparatus. The belt member is detachably mountable to the belt unit. The apparatus also includes a frame for supporting the belt unit, and a limiting portion, provided on the frame, for limiting the belt member by abutment to an edge of the belt member.
