An elevator hoist apparatus includes a stationary frame member, a main shaft, a stationary element disposed to said stationary frame member, a rotary frame member supported on said main shaft and extending in a radial direction in axial opposition to said stationary frame member, a rotary element disposed to said rotary frame member in opposition to said stationary member, a brake unit including a brake portion extending through an opening in said stationary frame member, and a rope sheave disposed to said rotary frame member for rotation therewith. The brake unit includes a brake portion disposed in a hollow portion of the stationary frame member of the stationary member and extending through the opening portion and disposed to the inner circumference of the stationary frame member or the rotary frame member. The magnetic path for the brake unit extends through one portion of the rotary frame member or the stationary frame member. Small-size and high performance are realized.

Hoist for elevator

A elevator hoisting machine is provided with a stator mounting portion at which a stator core of a motor is mounted to a surface of a side opposite to a sheave in a sheave rotation centerline direction of the hoisting machine. A hat shape fixed frame member in which the stator mounting portion and a fixed main shaft that supports rotation of a rotor through a bearing are integrated. The elevator hoisting machine is characterized in that a brake device in which an inner radial surface of a cylindrical rotor mounting portion forms a braking surface. A motor is characterized in that the width of a magnet constituting a rotor is larger than the width of the stator core. The elevator hoisting machine is provided with the motor.

An elevator control device for controllably driving multiple traction units includes position sensors and current supplies. Each of the current supplies includes a position controller for generating a speed command for the corresponding traction unit based on input difference between a common position command for the traction units and a feedback signal derived from an output of the pertinent position sensor, a speed controller for generating a current command for the corresponding traction unit based on an input difference between the speed command generated by the position controller and a feedback signal obtained by differentiating the output of the pertinent position sensor, and a current controller for supplying an electric current to the corresponding traction unit based on the current command generated by the speed controller.

Elevator control device for plural traction units

In an elevator apparatus, multiple cars are raised and lowered within a hoistway. The cars within the hoistway are adjacent to each other when located at the same height. If at least one of the cars is defined as a first car and a car adjacent to the first car is defined as a second car, the first car includes, in a face facing the second car a recess when projected onto a horizontal plane. At least a part of a car guide shoe is disposed in the recess.

Elevator apparatus

In an elevator apparatus, a first driving machine having a first drive sheave and a second driving machine having a second drive sheave are disposed in an upper portion of a hoistway. A car and first and second counterweights are suspended inside the hoistway by a main rope body wound around the first and second drive sheaves. The car and the first and second counterweights are raised and lowered inside the hoistway by a driving force from the first and second driving machines.

In an elevator apparatus, a car that is raised and lowered within a hoistway has a car frame and a cage supported on the car frame. Chamfered portions are provided at corner portions of the cage. The car frame has vertical columns arranged along the chamfered portions.

Elevator

A brake structure of a traction machine includes a brake drum which is made rotatable about a shaft disposed on a rotary axis of the traction machine, and an electromagnetic brake unit built in an inner space of the brake drum. The electromagnetic brake unit includes a plurality of movable iron cores, a plurality of brake shoes located on the outside of the individual movable iron cores and joined thereto by connecting members, the brake shoes having curved outer surfaces facing a curved inner surface of the brake drum, and a one-piece formed stationary iron core block. The one-piece formed stationary iron core block has a plurality of stationary iron core portions joined to the individual movable iron cores via compression springs for forcing the individual brake shoes against the curved inner surface of the brake drum via the movable iron cores and the connecting members.

Brake structure of traction machine

A rotational machine includes a shaft, a rotary member rotatably mounted on the shaft with a bearing fitted between the shaft and the rotary member, an oil seal for sealing the bearing to prevent leakage of lubricant from inside the bearing through its axial end onto a surface of the rotary member, a brake which comes into sliding contact with a contact surface area formed on the surface of the rotary member for arresting rotation of the rotary member, a supporting member fixedly mounted on the shaft face to face with the rotary member forming a gap therebetween, the gap serving as a fluid path through which the lubricant which has leaked over the oil seal is allowed to flow, and an oil stop portion formed at a location in the gap between the oil seal and the contact surface area for impeding flow of the leaked lubricant.

Rotational machine

A rotary electromechanical device includes a first motor including a first stator and a first rotor, a second motor including a second stator and a second rotor, and variable power supplies for driving the respective motors independently of each other, The motors are arranged in series along the axial direction of a rotary shaft. Magnetic poles of the same polarity of the rotors are located at uniform angular positions around the rotary shaft while magnetic poles of the stator of the motor and magnetic poles of the stator of the second motor are displaced from each other in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft.
