A hydraulic excavator includes: operation devices that output, based on operation by an operator, operation signals to operate a lower travel structure, an upper swing structure, and a front work implement; solenoid valves, andthat limit the operation signals outputted from the operation devices; and a controller that controls the solenoid valves based on detection signals from sensors, and that detect objects in the surroundings of a machine body. The detection ranges of the sensors, and include a first detection range TR defined based on travel performance of the lower travel structure and a second detection range SW defined to be along a swing radius of a rear end of the upper swing structure. As a result, the influence of excessive alarm on the working operator can be reduced while enhancing detection accuracy by setting the detection range according to action range of the work machine.

Work machine

A work machine includes: a machine body; an actuator attached to the machine body; an operation device used to operate the actuator; an operation sensor that senses an operation of the operation device; a photographing device that photographs surroundings of the machine body; a video data recording device that records video data including video photographed by the photographing device; a controller that controls the video data recording device; and an object sensor that senses an object in the surroundings of the machine body. The controller determines whether or not a recording and retaining condition including a condition that an object is present in the surroundings of the machine body and a condition that the operation device is operated is satisfied on the basis of a result of sensing in the object sensor and a result of sensing in the operation sensor, and makes the video data recording device record and retain the video data when the recording and retaining condition is satisfied.

Work machine for determining condition for recording and retaining video

A work machine includes a sensor that detects a retroreflective material and other objects in a distinguishable manner, a solenoid valve that restricts an operation signal outputted from an operation device, and a controller configured to control the solenoid valve based on the detection result. The controller controls the solenoid valve based on information concerning whether or not the object detected by the sensor is a retroreflective material and information concerning whether a position of the object detected by the sensor is in a first detection region at least partially including an operation range of a machine body or a second detection region located adjacent to and above the first detection region. This makes it possible to restrain contact between the work machine and an obstacle while restraining a reduction in a detection range due to exclusion of a structure of the work machine from an object of detection.

A hydraulic excavator includes a plurality of cameras that are attached to an upper swing structure and photograph images of surroundings, a controller configured to detect an obstacle present around the upper swing structure on the basis of the camera images, and a speaker that makes a notification that the obstacle is detected when the controller detects the obstacle. When a lock lever is at a lock release position and control levers are maintained in a non-operating state from a time of a start of the controller, the controller permits the notification by the speaker. When the lock lever is at the lock release position and the control levers are changed from an operating state to a non-operating state, the controller permits the notification by the speaker when the non-operating state is continued for a predetermined time or more.

In a hydraulic excavator including a machine body and a front work device, when an object is detected by sensors for detecting an object around the machine body when operation limiting control for limiting the operation of at least one of the machine body and the front work device is enabled, or when an operation device is operated, the detection of the object is notified to an operator by a first state warning, and when the operation limiting control is enabled and when the operation device is not operated, the detection of the object is notified to the operator by a second state warning that is weaker in warning intensity than the first state warning. Accordingly, the botheration for the operator can be suppressed while securing the effectiveness of an alarm in periphery monitoring, and the safety performance can be enhanced.

Work machine and periphery monitoring system

A hydraulic excavator is provided which makes it possible to allow an operator to surely recognize an alarm that notifies the operator of non-wearing of a seatbelt even when a work is performed in a situation in which a moving object is present around the machine. A controller outputs, when a moving object is detected and wearing of a seatbelt is detected by a seatbelt detection device, a first alarm through a notification device, outputs, when the moving object is not detected and non-wearing of the seatbelt is detected by the seatbelt detection device, a second alarm through the notification device, and outputs, when the moving object is detected and non-wearing of the seatbelt is detected by the seatbelt detection device, the second alarm preferentially over the first alarm through the notification device.

To provide a work machine that can stop unexpected operation of actuators faster than it actually occurs even if unintended operation occurs at the time of gate lock lever switching that leads to such unexpected operation. In the work machine, a controller switches a lock valve from a lock position to a release position in a case where a lock operation device is operated from a permission position to a prohibition position; decides, on the basis of a result of detection by a pressure sensor, whether or not a pilot hydraulic fluid has been output from a pilot valve until first time elapses after the lock valve is switched to the release position; keeps the lock valve at the lock position if it is decided that the pilot hydraulic fluid has been output until the first time elapses; and switches the lock valve from the lock position to the release position if it is decided that the pilot hydraulic fluid has not been output until the first time elapses, and second time elapses.

Locking system for a work machine

The operability when performing a combined arm-crowd and bucket operation can be improved. A hydraulic drive device for a hydraulic excavator includes: a bucket directional control valve and a second arm directional control valve, which are connected in parallel tandem with a first hydraulic pump; a first arm directional control valve that is connected to a second hydraulic pump; and a flow rate restriction device that restricts the flow rate of pressure oil supplied to the second arm directional control valve, during crowd operation of a bucket. This flow rate restriction device includes a variable throttle whose opening is controlled so as to become smaller as a bucket operating device is operated to the crowd side, the variable throttle being provided in a bypass path connecting to the supply port of the second arm directional control valve.

Hydraulic drive device for hydraulic excavator

A hydraulic drive system realizes a jack-up operation without arrangement of a flow rate control valve and center bypass selector valve. The hydraulic drive system has first and second hydraulic pumps, first and second directional control valves for controlling boom cylinders, a third directional control valve for controlling the boom cylinders, and a third hydraulic pump for feeding pressure oil to the third directional control valve. A jack-up selector valve has a second select position where, when a pressure in bottom chambers of the boom cylinders is not higher than a predetermined pressure, feeding of pressure oil, which is delivered from the first hydraulic pump and second hydraulic pump, to rod chambers of the boom cylinders, is held permissible in association with switching of the second directional control valve and third directional control valve by a manipulation of a control device.

Hydraulic drive device for hydraulic working machine

A hydraulic drive system for a working machine provides improved safety during forced regeneration. Upon input of a forced regeneration command signal from a forced regeneration switch, a controller detects non-operated states of all hydraulic actuators such as an arm cylinder arranged on a hydraulic excavator based on a lock detection signal from a gate lock detection switch, and also an attitude of a front working mechanism. The attitude is proper from the standpoint of safety. The detection is based on an arm angle signal from an arm angle sensor, a bucket angle signal from a bucket angle sensor and a boom pressure signal from a boom pressure sensor. Taking the detection of the non-operated states and proper attitude as conditions, the controller outputs control signals to a boosting proportional solenoid valve and flow-rate controlling, proportional solenoid valve to make a forced regenerator conduct forced regeneration.
