An air conditioner includes an inlet; a suction channel through which air sucked from the inlet flows; a spray unit configured to spray water to be vaporized; a first channel through which first air to be cooled by heat of vaporization of water sprayed from the spray unit flows; a heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the first air and the air flowing through the suction channel to cool the air flowing through the suction channel; wall body defining the first channel located downstream of the heat exchanger in a flow direction of the first air; and an electric device configured to generate heat with power consumption by the air conditioner. The electric device is thermally connected to the wall body.

An air conditioner includes a housing having a first outlet and a second outlet, a first channel communicating with the first outlet, a second channel communicating with the second outlet, a tank unit configured to hold water for cooling first air and second air, the first air flowing through the first channel, the second air flowing through the second channel, a cooling unit configured to cool the first air by heat of vaporization of water held in the tank unit, a water supply channel for supplying water held in the tank unit to the cooling unit, and a water recovery channel for collecting water remaining in the cooling unit to the tank unit.

A suturing device includes first and second holding members, a plurality of needles, a needle moving mechanism, and a suture hook. The first and second holding members are configured to move toward and away from each other to sandwich therebetween edges of a cut. The needles are disposed at the first holding member and aligned in a needle arrangement direction with their points pointing to the second holding member. The needles are configured to hold a suture at tips thereof. The needle moving mechanism is configured to move the plurality of needles toward the second holding member. The suture hook is disposed at the second holding member and configured to move along the needle arrangement direction to catch the suture that has reached the second holding member via the edges of the cut by movement of the needles toward the second holding member by the needle moving mechanism.

Suturing device

A suturing device is provided, including a needle and a shuttle. The needle has an elongated shape extending in a predetermined direction and is configured to hold a first thread-like member. The needle is reciprocally movable forward and backward in the predetermined direction and is rotatable about an axis extending in the predetermined direction. Rotation of the needle about the axis permitting the first thread-like member to cross the needle to form a loop in the first thread-like member. The shuttle includes a holding portion. The holding portion is configured to hold a second thread-like member. The shuttle is configured to permit the holding portion to pass through the loop.

In a suturing device, a casing has an elongated shape extending in a longitudinal direction. A needle is positioned in the casing, is configured to hold a first thread-like member, and has a tip end reciprocally moving along a path extending between a first position and a second position positioned backward than the first position in the longitudinal direction. A depression is formed in a peripheral wall of the casing, is positioned between the first and second positions in the longitudinal direction, and is configured to expose the needle to an outside of the casing. The shuttle includes a holding portion configured to hold a second thread-like member. The shuttle is configured to move within the casing at a third position between the first position and the depression in the longitudinal direction to change relative position between the second thread-like member and a loop formed in the first thread-like member.

A suturing device includes a needle, and a shuttle. The needle has an elongated shape extending in a predetermined direction and is configured to hold a first thread-like member. The needle is reciprocally movable forward and backward in the predetermined direction and is rotatable about an axis extending in the predetermined direction. Rotation of the needle about the axis permitting the first thread-like member to cross the needle to form a loop in the first thread-like member. The shuttle includes a holding portion. The holding portion is configured to hold a second thread-like member. The shuttle is configured to permit the holding portion to pass through the loop.

An image recording apparatus includes: a recording portion; a conveying member having a surface opposed to the recording portion and which conveys the recording medium in a conveying direction; a wiper having an end portion which is contactable with the surface of the conveying member and which removes a foreign matter on the surface of the conveying member; and a wiping operation executing portion which executes a wiping operation in which at least one of the wiper and the conveying member is driven such that, after the end portion of the wiper distant from the surface of the conveying member comes into contact with a clean area of the surface of the conveying member, the end portion of the wiper reaches outside of the clean area.

A recording apparatus including: a head having an ejection surface; and a recording-medium conveyor device having a conveyor member with a conveyor surface, wherein the apparatus further includes a first and a second attraction device each for permitting the medium on the conveyor surface to be attracted thereto. The first device includes: a first and a second electrode each being opposed to one surface of the medium opposite to another surface thereof facing the ejection surface; and a first voltage applicator to apply a voltage between the first and second electrodes. The second device includes: an electrifying body and a third electrode between which at least one of the medium and the conveyor member is sandwiched; and a second voltage applicator to apply a voltage between the electrifying body and the third electrode. The second device is for electrifying the at least one of the medium and the conveyor member.
