A printing screen cleaning apparatus and a method for cleaning a printing screen by employing the cleaning apparatus which includes a cleaning head having a wiping member and a backup member for sucking the paste via a wiping member while sliding the wiping member on a lower surface of the printing screen. The backup member includes a suction port provided in a suction region of a backup surface of the backup member. The backup member also has a groove that extends parallel to the suction region and approximately perpendicular to the sliding direction of the wiping member. The groove partially releases the backup of the wiping member.

The object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for applying a viscous fluid whereby a constant application diameter is achieved through a simple operation without a Tact loss while a surface of a member to be applied can be less damaged. An adhesive application member ( ) having a screw portion ( ) inserted therein is rotated by a rotating device ( ), so that a nozzle stopper ( ) of the adhesive application member is prevented from interfering with a wiring pattern on a face of a circuit board. A screen printing apparatus includes: a positioning stage for positioning an object and a plate arranged above it; printing squeegees which are moved horizontally on the plate for printing through the plate onto the object; a driver for moving the positioning stage; a horizontal driver for moving the positioning stage in two substantially perpendicular directions; a positioning controller for calculating a central position of a pattern on the plate from a reference position and the size of an outer periphery of the object, moving the positioning stage so that the central position corresponds to a center of the object. A carry-in conveyor is provided for feeding the object onto the positioning stage along a predetermined transferring direction, the conveyor being arranged away from the positioning stage and having a carry-in conveyor surface on which the object is placed before the object is fed onto the positioning stage. The carry-in conveyor surface is positioned within the same plane as an object placing surface of the positioning stage. A carry-out conveyor is provided for transferring the object on the positioning stage along the transferring direction, the carry-out conveyor being arranged away from the positioning stage and having a carry-out conveyor surface on which the object is placed after the object is fed from the positioning stage. The carry-out conveyor surface is positioned within the same plane as the object placing surface of the positioning stage.

Apparatus and method for centering a printing screen over an object

A screen printing apparatus for printing a printing paste to a to-be-printed object, includes a positioning stage for positioning and fixing the to-be-printed object, a screen printing plate disposed above the positioning stage, a printing squeegee moved in a predetermined moving direction within a horizontal plane while keeping touch with the screen printing plate to thereby print the printing paste on the screen printing plate to the to-be-printed object, a circuit pattern provided on the screen printing plate and inclined at an angle to the moving direction of the printing squeegee, a lift device for relatively moving the positioning stage up and down to a predetermined printing position in a vicinity of a lower face of the screen printing plate, a rotating device for rotating the positioning stage about a longitudinal axis orthogonal to a face of the positioning stage, and a controlling device for controlling and rotating the positioning stage by means of the rotating device so that an inclining angle of the to-be-printed object agrees with the inclining angle of the circuit pattern on the screen printing plate, wherein the printing paste is printed to the object securely positioned on the positioning stage with the use of the screen printing plate having the circuit pattern and the printing squeegee, thereby forming printed circuit portions.
