Power conversion device which detects power shortage and switches to a power supply that is capable of supplying power

An electric power conversion device which performs conversion to desired voltage using charge and discharge of a DC capacitor includes: a reactor connected to a rectification circuit; a leg part in which diodes and first and second switching elements are connected in series between positive and negative terminals of a smoothing capacitor, and to which the reactor is connected; and the DC capacitor. A control circuit performs high-frequency PWM control for the first and second switching elements using the same drive cycle, with their reference phases shifted from each other by a half cycle, and controls a sum and a ratio of ON periods of the first and second switching elements in one cycle, thereby allowing both high-power-factor control for input AC current and voltage control for the DC capacitor.

Electric power conversion device

This power conversion device includes a rectification circuit, a reactor, an inverter circuit, and an isolation transformer. The inverter circuit is composed of a first leg A, a second leg B, and a DC capacitor connected in parallel between DC buses. A first AC end of the first leg A is connected to a positive DC terminal of the rectification circuit via the reactor. High power factor control of current iac flowing from an AC power supply via the rectification circuit is performed by PWM control for the first leg A, and voltage Vdc of the DC capacitor is controlled by PWM control for the second leg B using a duty cycle equal to or smaller than that for the first leg A, thereby controlling power outputted to the secondary side of the isolation transformer.

Power conversion device

An electric power conversion device includes a transformer composed of three or more windings magnetically coupled with each other, wherein power supply sources, are connected to at least two windings, via switching circuits, a load is connected to at least one winding, and a control circuit temporally divides, within one switching period, a total ON time during which power is supplied, in accordance with the number of the power supply sources, to supply power, the one switching period being the minimum repetitive unit during which power is supplied alternately. The control circuit allocates the divided ON times to the respective switching circuits, and the switching circuits, supply power from the power supply sources, to the load side during the allocated ON times, respectively.

A main circuit of a power conversion device includes: an AC/DC converter for performing power factor correction control for a single-phase AC power supply; and a DC/DC converter connected to the AC/DC converter via a DC capacitor. In order to reduce ripple voltage and ripple current for the DC capacitor, a control circuit superimposes, onto a DC current command, an AC current command having the minimum value at the zero cross phase of the single-phase AC power supply and having the maximum value at the peak phase thereof, to generate an output current command for the DC/DC converter, and performs output control for the DC/DC converter, using the output current command.

Power conversion device including an AC/DC converter and a DC/DC converter

The power reception amount of input power from an AC power supply is controlled through a first switching circuit. DC voltage is controlled through a second switching circuit, to control charge power for a first DC voltage source. DC voltage obtained by a third switching circuit is converted to AC by an inverter, to supply the resultant power to an AC load. DC voltage is controlled through a fourth switching circuit, to control charge power for a second DC voltage source. Thus, distribution control of the input power is performed. In addition, in the distribution control of the input power, operation of the second switching circuit or the fourth switching circuit is stopped to allow stop of the charging for the first DC voltage source or the second DC voltage source.

Power conversion device to control power distribution of input power to multiple outputs

A communication apparatus for a vehicle achieves reduction in size and cost of a portable unit by making unnecessary an oscillation circuit and a battery in the portable unit. The apparatus is provided with an on-board unit installed on the vehicle and a portable unit carried by a user of the vehicle. A response signal is sent from the portable unit to the on-board unit in response to a signal transmitted from the on-board unit. The portable unit includes a power generation circuit for supplying electric power to circuits in the portable unit by a power generation radio wave sent from the on-board unit, and the on-board unit sends a communication signal after sending the power generation radio wave.

Communication apparatus for vehicle

For enabling determination on whether a sign of a Doppler frequency or a target angle is positive or negative even when only a real signal can be obtained as a received signal, the present invention provides a radar device including: an oscillator; a transmitting element; a distributor; receivers using the local wave to detect the received wave to generate a real received signal; a plurality of inter-channel phase correcting units; a spatial frequency information generating unit for converting a received signal string obtained by gathering a plurality of phase-corrected received signals into a signal in a spatial frequency domain; and a sign selecting unit for selecting a signal having a larger amplitude in a spatial frequency spectrum when two signals from a positive direction and a negative direction which are symmetrical with respect to a direction at approximately 0 degree.

Radar device

A communication apparatus for a vehicle can achieve an inexpensive technique for determining whether a portable unit exists inside or outside the vehicle without depending upon LF band radio waves through contactless communication using high frequency band radio waves by separating a reader function of a reader/writer into the portable unit and an on-board unit. The apparatus includes at least one ID transmitter installed on a vehicle and sends a transmitter ID possessed by itself in response to reception of a radio wave, an on-board unit installed on the vehicle for radiating a radio wave to the ID transmitter, a portable unit that receives the transmitter ID sent by the ID transmitter, and an ID communication section for sending the transmitter ID from the portable unitto the on-board unit. The on-board unit determines the position of the portable unit based on the transmitter ID received from the portable unit.

To provide a radar system mounted on a vehicle that reliably detects the reception of the interference wave with high-performance and inexpensively. There is provided a radar system mounted on a vehicle for detecting a target object, including a transmitter for transmitting an electromagnetic wave, a receiver for receiving the electromagnetic wave reflected by the target object, a signal processor for measuring a distance between a vehicle of his/her own and the target object and a relative velocity on the basis of the transmitting electromagnetic wave and the receiving electromagnetic wave, and an interference detector for suspending a transmit operation of the transmitter under a control of the signal processor to detect an interference signal from another external device.

An in-vehicle pulse radar device includes: an oscillator that generates an electromagnetic wave; a transmission amplifier that transmits the electromagnetic wave generated by the oscillator toward a target substance; an antenna that receives the reception electromagnetic wave reflected by the target substance to output data; reception amplifiers; a reception antenna; an A/D converter; and a signal processing device that pre-sums data which is sampled on the basis of the data from the A/D converter for each of distance gates, subjects the pre-summed data which is a result of the pre-summing process to an FFT process, and obtains a distance between a subject vehicle and the target substance and a relative speed therebetween in accordance with the spectrum frequency and the amplitude information which are a result of the FFT process.

In-vehicle pulse radar device

A motor vehicle position recognizing system which can ensure high accuracy for an arithmetic processing for determining a vehicle position in a transverse direction of a road by minimizing error involved in the arithmetic processing by suppressing occurrence of discontinuity even when a magnetic sensor whose output is destined for the arithmetic processing is changed over to another one. The system includes magnetic markers ( ) laid on a road surface at predetermined locations for forming a magnetic field zone, a plurality of vehicle-onboard magnetic sensors ( ) for detecting the intensity of the magnetic field zone formed by the magnetic markers ( ), a vehicle position arithmetic means ( A) for arithmetically determining a position (Phr) of the motor vehicle in the transverse direction as a vehicle position on the basis of the field intensities detected by the magnetic sensors ( ), and a vehicle position correcting means ( ) for correcting an arithmetically determined value of the position of the motor vehicle as determined by the vehicle position arithmetic means ( A).

Motor vehicle position recognizing system

A vehicle position recognizing system includes at least one magnetic marker for forming a magnetic field at a predetermined position on the road surface and at least one magnetic sensor for detecting the intensity of the magnetic field formed by the magnetic marker. An on-vehicle detector is provided for performing operation of the vehicle position on the basis of the magnetic field intensity obtained from the magnetic sensor at positions separated forward and backward from the magnetic marker by a predetermined amount. The on-vehicle detector has a correcting unit for correcting the magnetic field intensity of the magnetic marker on the basis of the magnetic field intensity obtained from the magnetic sensor at positions separated forward and backward from the magnetic marker by a predetermined amount. The on-vehicle detector also has a judging unit for judging the presence of the magnetic marker. The correction and judgment are preformed on the basis of an average value of the magnetic field intensity obtained from the magnetic sensor.

Vehicle position recognizing system

A radar system mounted on a vehicle is capable of properly measuring an angle even when a linearity is impaired without increasing a scale of hardware and a load on signal processing, and exhibiting a high performance at a low cost. This system is constructed of a transmit-receive shared antenna including a transmitting means for transmitting electromagnetic waves subjected to plural kinds of frequency modulations and a receiving means for receiving the receiving electromagnetic waves reflected by a target object, a signal processor for calculating a relative distance and a relative velocity to the target object and a receiving intensity on the basis of output data from the transmitting means and input data from the receiving means, and calculating a direction of the target object from the receiving intensity, and an antenna scan motor as a scan means, for deflecting a transmitting direction of the transmitting means and a receiving direction of the receiving means on the basis of an output from the signal processor. The signal processor executes an angle measuring process based on a combination of the receiving intensities in respective frequency-modulated phases in the plurality of directions, and uses what averages respective measured angle values as a result of measuring the angle.
