In a compact motorcomprising a cylindrical permanent magnet, which is affixed to the inner surface of a hollow cylindrical yoke, and an armature core, which is provided at the interior of the permanent magnet, the armature corecomprises three slotsdisposed at a uniform pitch, the permanent magnetis bipolar-magnetized, and each magnetic pole has a maximum magnetic flux density value P in a range of 40&#xb0; to 50&#xb0; from the center at both sides of the magnetic pole, the maximum value P being within the range of 1.3 times to 1.8 times the magnetic flux density at the center of the magnetic pole.

Compact motor

A vibration motor has an eccentric rotor having a plurality of armature coils with at least one winding-type air core armature coil disposed in an eccentric manner on a printed wiring board. A commutator is disposed on the printed wiring board. An eccentric weight is disposed so as not to overlap with at least one winding-type air-core armature coil and at least two of the air-core armature coils overlap. A magnet imparts a magnet field to the eccentric rotor via an axial air gap, a brush that imparts electric power to the air-core armature coils via the commutator.

Axial air-gap vibration motor

For the purpose of preventing resin from flowing into a commutator when resin molding a rotor, a rotor for a flat coreless motor comprises a printed wiring board, on one side of which a plurality of air-cored armature coils are provided, and on the other side of which a plurality of segment patterns constituting a commutator and a wiring pattern are provided. These members are molded with resin into a unitary body with the segment patterns exposed. Wiring pattern parts are provided so as to surround the outer periphery of the commutator.

The commutator is of an axially contact type and comprises a plurality of metal plates made of copper and a noble metal layer coated on the metal plates in a state of disposing a separate layer between the metal plates and the noble metal layer. The separate layer is formed of Nickel plating having a non-magnetic property in a non-electrolysis manner.

An eccentric rotor having a high density member includes a rotor base having an air-core armature coil installation surface, a bearing holder provided at a center thereof, and an air-core armature coil position determination guide formed of a high density member including metal, having a specific gravity of 6 or more and arranged to be eccentric outside of the bearing holder, an air-core armature coil arranged at the air-core armature coil position determination guide, a printed wired commutator member installed to insulate a conductive portion having electric potential from the high density member, and an end connection pattern, in which ends of the air-core armature coil are connected, installed at the printed wired commutator member inside an outer circumference of rotation at a position not overlapping the air-core armature coil.

A brushless motor having a resin bearing including a rotor with an integral output device at one side of a rotor case and a magnet at the other side, a shaft supporting the rotor, a resin bearing supporting the shaft for rotating, a stator base incorporating the resin bearing, a stator for driving the rotor, and an oil containing portion in the resin bearing. The oil containing portion includes grooves, a concave portion, and an oil barrier device located at the resin bearing, so the number of parts as well as the cost is reduced and a simple structure prevents the oil from leaking.

A dc brushless vibrator motor has a base member, a shaft connected to the base member, a stator having magnetically conductive cores and respective armature coils angularly uniformly disposed about the shaft and having an eccentric mass distribution. The rotor has a magnet holder, an annular permanent magnet fixedly connected to the magnet holder and concentric with the shaft and radially outside the stator. The magnet has alternating north and south magnetic poles arranged at a uniform angular pitch. In order to rotationally imbalance the rotor, an arcuate weight is fixed to the magnet holder and/or a part of the magnet holder is cut out.

DC brushless motor having eccentric rotor

A dc brushless vibrator motor employs a cylindrical coreless stator winding unit having at least three stator coils arranged at about an even pitch angle and a rotor that includes an axially extended eccentrically-weighted permanent field magnet that is magnetized so as to have alternate north and south poles about the rotational axis of the rotor. A cross-section of the field magnet in a plane perpendicular to the rotational axis has generally an arcuate or sectorial shape which is within an angular range of 180.degree. to 270.degree. about the rotational axis. The center of mass of the rotor, therefore, is off the rotational axis, thereby causing vibrations.

Brushless vibrator motor for a wireless silent alerting device

A dc vibrator motor has a generally cylindrically-shaped magnetically conductive case, a ring-shaped permanent field magnet, and an armature rotor including a shaft. The field magnet has at least four and at most eight alternate north and south pole sections arranged at an even angular pitch coaxially with the shaft. The armature rotor has at least three armature poles having an angular interval of 60.degree. between adjacent poles and at most six armature poles having an angular interval of 30.degree. between any pair of adjacent poles and at least six and at most twelve commutator segments arranged at an even angular pitch coaxially with the shaft. A pair of commutator brushes have an angular interval of at least 45.degree. and at most 90.degree. . Since all of the armature poles are situated within an angular range of 180.degree. about the shaft, the center of mass of the rotor is radially off the shaft, thereby causing vibrations.
