Various ultrasonic diagnostic apparatuses and method are provided for calculating a velocity of propagation of shear waves. In one example, a method includes applying mechanical vibrations to a patient to generate shear waves, receiving first echo signals based on first ultrasonic pulses transmitted at a first pulse repetition frequency, creating data for an image based on the first echo signals, and calculating at least one frequency component of the mechanical vibrations. The method includes calculating a second pulse repetition frequency that is different from the first pulse repetition frequency, based on the at least one frequency component of the mechanical vibrations. The method include receiving second echo signals based on second ultrasonic pulses transmitted at the second pulse repetition frequency and calculating a velocity of propagation of said shear waves based on the second echo signals transmitted at the second pulse repetition frequency.

Ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, ultrasonic diagnostic system, and method for use with the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus

An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and a control program for an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus. According to an embodiment, the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes an ultrasound probe that transmits and receives ultrasound waves to and from a subject in three dimensional space, a position sensor, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine whether or not a first region and a second region configure the same three dimensional region across a first scanning surface and a second scanning surface. The processor is configured to perform, based on the determining result, processing to obtain information representing the size of the three dimensional region in a direction intersecting the first scanning surface and the second scanning surface. The processor is configured to perform control for notifying the information.

An ultrasonic diagnostic system comprises: a first transceiver for performing transmission/reception of first ultrasound for detecting shear waves generated in a subject by mechanical vibration; a second transceiver for performing transmission/reception of second ultrasound to/from the subject; a computing section for calculating a value of a parameter affecting a frequency of the first ultrasound to be transmitted from the first transceiver based on echo signals obtained by transmission/reception of the second ultrasound; an identifying section for identifying one first transceiver from among a plurality of kinds of first transceivers each having a different frequency of said first ultrasound based on the value of said parameter; and a display device for displaying the first transceiver identified by the identifying section.

Ultrasonic diagnostic system

A condenser and a subcondenser are provided between a couple of header pipes, and a liquid tank is provided by the side of the header pipe. Liquid refrigerant that is discharged from the condenser enters the subcondenser after passing through the liquid tank. The liquid tank is detachably mounted on the header pipe.
