A cold storage heat exchanger includes: a plurality of refrigerant tubes disposed at intervals, each of the refrigerant tubes including a refrigerant passage that allows a refrigerant to flow therethrough; a cold storage material adjacent to the refrigerant tubes; and a heat transfer suppressor that suppresses heat transfer from the refrigerant tubes to the cold storage material in an overheated area of the refrigerant formed in the refrigerant passage.

Cold storage heat exchanger

A refrigerant evaporator includes: a first heat exchange part in which refrigerant flows to exchange heat with fluid to be cooled; a second heat exchange part arranged to oppose the first heat exchange part; a first tank arranged below the first heat exchange part to distribute the refrigerant to the first heat exchange part; a second tank arranged below the second heat exchange part to collect the refrigerant flowing through the second heat exchange part; and a third tank joined to the first tank and the second tank by brazing. A projection part is formed at one of joint portions between the first tank and the third tank. An insertion part is formed at the other of the joint portions between the first tank and the third tank, and the projection part is inserted in the insertion part.

Refrigerant evaporator

A refrigerant evaporator has an interchange part. The interchange part connects a first collecting part of a second downstream tank part, and a second distribution part of a second upstream tank part. The interchange part connects a second collecting part of a second downstream tank part, and a first distribution part of a second upstream tank part. The interchange part swaps a refrigerant about a width direction of a core. Refrigerant passages relevant to the interchange part are configured to improve refrigerant distribution. Providing a plurality of passages and/or twisting a passage improve distribution.

A first evaporation unit and a second evaporation unit are coupled via a refrigerant interchanging portion having a first communication portion and a second communication portion. A first partition member is provided in a tank portion of the first evaporation unit to define a first tank internal space and a second tank internal space. The first partition member has a first communication hole to let the first tank internal space and the second tank internal space communicate with each other. A second partition member is provided in a tank portion of the second evaporation unit to define a third tank internal space and a fourth tank internal space. The second partition member has a second communication hole to let the third tank internal space and the fourth tank internal space communicate with each other.

In a refrigerant evaporator, a first refrigerant collector defined in a tank portion of a first evaporation unit is connected to a second refrigerant distributor defined in a tank portion of a second evaporation unit, and a second refrigerant collector defined in the tank portion of the first evaporation unit is connected to a first refrigerant distributor defined in the tank portion of the second evaporation unit. The refrigerant evaporator includes a connection channel to connect a first refrigerant channel that introduces refrigerant from a heat-exchange core portion of the first evaporation unit to a heat-exchange core portion of the second evaporation unit and a second refrigerant channel that introduces refrigerant from a heat-exchange core portion of the second evaporation unit to a heat-exchange core portion of the first evaporation unit.

A refrigerant evaporator includes four core portions. A part of the refrigerant passes through a first core portion and a fourth core portion. The other part of the refrigerant passes through a second core portion and a third core portion. An exchanging unit exchanges the positions where the refrigerant flows. A passage through which the second core portion communicates with the third core portion includes a throttle passage in the intermediate tank unit. The throttle passage and the end portion of the intermediate tank unit reverse the refrigerant flow toward a partitioning member. Since the distribution of a liquid-phase refrigerant is adjusted by the throttle passage, a concentration of the liquid-phase refrigerant on a position in the vicinity of an outlet of the third core portion is suppressed. Accordingly, the concentration of the liquid-phase refrigerant in the core portions located downstream of the refrigerant flow is suppressed.

An ejector cycle system with a refrigerant cycle through which refrigerant flows includes an ejector disposed downstream of a radiator, a first evaporator that evaporates refrigerant flowing out of the ejector, a throttling unit located in a branch passage and depressurizes refrigerant to adjust a flow rate of refrigerant, and a second evaporator located downstream of the throttling unit. In the ejector cycle system, a flow ratio adjusting means adjusts a flow ratio between a first refrigerant flow amount depressurized and expanded in a nozzle portion of the ejector and a second refrigerant flow amount drawn into a refrigerant suction port of the ejector, based on a physical quantity related to at least one of a state of refrigerant in the refrigerant cycle, a temperature of a space to be cooled by the first and second evaporators, and an ambient temperature of the space.

Ejector cycle system

An ejector cycle system with a refrigerant cycle through which refrigerant flows includes an ejector disposed downstream of a radiator, a first evaporator located to evaporate refrigerant flowing out of the ejector, a branch passage branched from a branch portion between the radiator and a nozzle portion of the ejector and coupled to a refrigerant suction port of the ejector, a throttling unit located in the branch passage, and a second evaporator located downstream of the throttling unit to evaporate refrigerant. In the ejector cycle system, a variable throttling device is located in a refrigerant passage between a refrigerant outlet of the radiator and the branch portion to decompress the refrigerant flowing out of the radiator.

An integrated unit for a refrigerant cycle device includes an ejector having a nozzle part for decompressing refrigerant, and an evaporator located to evaporate the refrigerant to be drawn into a refrigerant suction port of the ejector or the refrigerant discharged from an outlet of the ejector. The evaporator includes a plurality of tubes defining refrigerant passages through which refrigerant flows, a tank that is disposed at one end side of the tubes for distributing refrigerant into the tubes and for collecting the refrigerant from the tubes. The tank extends in a tank longitudinal direction that is parallel to an arrangement direction of the tubes, and is provided with an end portion in the tank longitudinal direction. Furthermore, the end portion has a hole portion for inserting the ejector, and the ejector is inserted into an inner space of the tank from the hole portion.

Integrated unit for refrigerant cycle device and manufacturing method of the same

A first evaporator connected to an outlet side of an ejector, a second evaporator connected to a refrigerant suction port of the ejector, a throttle mechanism arranged on an inlet side of a refrigerant flow of the second evaporator and for reducing the pressure of the refrigerant flow are provided. Furthermore, the ejector, the first evaporator, the second evaporator and the throttle mechanism are assembled integrally with each other to construct an integrated unit having one refrigerant inlet and one refrigerant outlet. Hence, mounting performance of an ejector type refrigeration cycle can be improved.

Unit for ejector type refrigeration cycle

A unit for a refrigerant cycle device includes an ejector that has a nozzle part which decompresses refrigerant, and a refrigerant suction port from which refrigerant is drawn by a high-speed refrigerant flow jetted from the nozzle part, a first evaporator connected to the outlet of the ejector, and a second evaporator connected to the refrigerant suction port of the ejector. One of the first evaporator and the second evaporator has a tank structure that includes a tank for distributing refrigerant into or for collecting the refrigerant from refrigerant passages of a heat exchanging part. The tank has therein a first space through which the refrigerant discharged from the outlet of the ejector flows into a heat exchanging part of the first evaporator, and a second space through which the refrigerant to be drawn into the refrigerant suction port flows into a heat exchanging part of the second evaporator.

Unit for refrigerant cycle device

An ejector type refrigerating cycle comprises a compressor, a heat radiating device, an ejector, and a first vaporizing device, which are connected in a circuit to form a refrigerating cycle. A bypass passage is provided between an inlet port and a suction port of the ejector, so that a part of the refrigerant is bifurcated to flow through the bypass passage. A second vaporizing device is provided in the bypass passage. An internal heat exchanger is further provided between an outlet side of the heat radiating device and the inlet side of the ejector, so that the enthalpy of the high-pressure refrigerant from the heat radiating device is reduced, to thereby increase an enthalpy difference between the inlet side and outlet side of the first and second vaporizing devices. As a result, the cooling capability by the both vaporizing devices can be improved.

Ejector type refrigerating cycle

An ejector cycle device includes a compressor, a refrigerant radiator disposed to radiate heat of refrigerant discharged from the compressor, an ejector having a nozzle, a first evaporator for evaporating refrigerant from the ejector, a branch passage, which is branched from a refrigerant downstream side of the refrigerant radiator and is connected to a refrigerant suction port of the ejector, a throttle member disposed in the branch passage to decompress refrigerant flowing from the refrigerant radiator, a second evaporator disposed in the branch passage between the throttle member and the refrigerant suction port of the ejector, and a gas-liquid separator having an inlet connected to a downstream side of the first evaporator and an outlet from which gas refrigerant is introduced to a refrigerant suction side of the compressor. Thus, refrigerant amounts flowing to the first and second evaporators can be suitably controlled.

Ejector cycle device

A first evaporator is arranged on a downstream side of an ejector, and a second evaporator is connected to a refrigerant suction inlet of the ejector. A refrigerant evaporation temperature of the second evaporator is lower than that of the first evaporator. The first and second evaporators are used to cool a common subject cooling space and are arranged one after the other in a flow direction of air to be cooled.
