A powder supplying device () includes a case () in which a storage portion () is formed for temporarily storing powder (), the case () having an inlet () formed in an upper end of the storage portion (), and a rectangular outlet () formed in a lower end of the storage portion (); a rotor () that is arranged in the case () and transports the powder () in the storage portion () to the outlet () by rotating; and a mesh body () through which the powder () that has been transported to the outlet () passes. The powder supplying device () supplies the powder () onto an upper surface of an electrode foil (). The rotor () has a brush-like shape, with a plurality of hair members () radially implanted pointing radially outward with an axial center (G) of the rotor () as the center.

Powder supplying device and electrode manufacturing apparatus

A method of manufacturing a lithium-ion secondary battery electrode sheet disclosed herein includes the step of preparing powderof granulated particles. In this step, the powder () of granulated particles () including active material particles () and a binder () is prepared. The powder () is deposited on a strip-shaped collector foil () that is being conveyed. Provided is an apparatus for manufacturing an electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery that makes it possible to form a more uniform active material layer by using granulated particles. The manufacturing apparatus includes: a conveying mechanism, a supply unit, a squeegee, an adjustment unit, and rolling rolls. The conveying mechanism conveys a collector. The supply unit supplies granulated particles, including active material particles and a binder, onto the surface of the conveyed collector. The squeegee levels the supplied granulated particles. The adjustment unit is disposed upstream of the squeegee. The adjustment unit controls the accumulation height of the granulated particles accumulated upstream of the squeegee. The rolling rolls roll the leveled granulated particles and form the active material layer.

Apparatus for manufacturing electrode for lithium ion secondary battery

Provided is a powder supply device for a secondary battery which can always supply a fixed amount of powder with high accuracy without being influenced by a state of the powder. In addition, provided is an apparatus for manufacturing an electrode body, which includes the powder supply device and can efficiently manufacture an electrode body. The powder supply device includes a rotor which makes powder fall into an opening, and a mesh body which covers the lower end of the opening. Uneven portions or projecting portions are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the rotor. The rotor is rotatably supported in a storing portion. The gap is formed between the outer circumferential surface of the rotor and the inner surface of the storing portion so that they are spaced apart. The mesh body is arranged away from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor.
