An image capture apparatus to which a module having a predetermined function can be attached, the apparatus comprises a connecting unit configured to attach the module, a heat transfer unit configured to exchange heat with the module, a communication unit configured to communicate with the module, and a control unit configured to control a heat dissipation state of a system including the image capture apparatus and the module on the basis of information pertaining to heat dissipation performance of the module and position information pertaining to an attachment position of the module, the information having been acquired by the communication unit.

Image capture apparatus, module, and control method thereof

An electronic apparatus capable of efficiently cooling first and second circuit boards, using one cooling fan. A main circuit board is arranged substantially in parallel to a side surface of a casing. A sensor circuit board is arranged orthogonal to the side surface of the camera casing. A main duct is formed with a flow passage for cooling the main circuit board. A sensor duct has an exhaust port and is formed with a flow passage for cooling the sensor circuit board. A cooling fan is fixed to the main duct and has an exhaust port for discharging air flowing into the flow passage of the main duct. The main duct is formed with an opening connected to the exhaust port of the sensor duct, and introduces air discharged from the exhaust port of the sensor duct into the flow passage of the main duct.

Electronic apparatus and image pickup apparatus improved in heat dissipation structure

An electronic apparatus includes a card board on which a card slot at least a part of which is formed of metal and into which a recording medium can be inserted is mounted, and a memory board on which memories are mounted. The card board is disposed facing to a surface of the memory board on which the memories are mounted, and the card slot and at least a part of the memories are disposed so as to be overlapped when viewing from a direction orthogonal to the board surface of the card board.
