A laminated substrate embedded type inductor includes a laminated resin substrate in which a pair of first resin substrates are laminated, a sheet-shaped magnetic core placed in the laminated resin substrate, via holes provided so as to pass through the laminated resin substrate, and a coil formed via the via holes. The laminated resin substrate contains an adhesive component, wherein the sheet-shaped magnetic core is a molded body obtained by forming a soft magnetic flat metal powder into a flat plate, the soft magnetic flat metal powder is oriented in a plane of the flat plate, and a generated magnetic flux of the coil circulates in the plane of the flat plate, and wherein the magnetic core is integrated with the laminated resin substrate so that the adhesive component is impregnated in pores of the magnetic core.

Sheet-shaped inductor, inductor within laminated substrate, and method for manufacturing said inductors

An antenna device, which has wide-angle directivity and a configuration suitable to be used in a portable electronic apparatus, includes a flat board-like substantially rectangular soft magnetic body, and a loop-shaped coil disposed from a front surface to a rear surface of the soft magnetic body such that a region surrounded by the coil includes at least a part of a specific edge, i.e., one edge out of four edges of the soft magnetic body, and does not include a facing edge that faces the specific edge.

A resonator is connected to a first plane which is one of a power plane and a ground plane, wherein the power plane and the ground plane are apart from each other in an up-down direction. The resonator comprises a connecting portion and a body portion. The connecting portion is connected to the first plane. The connecting portion extends in the up-down direction beyond a second plane, which is a remaining one of the power plane and the ground plane, while not being in electrical contact with the second plane. The body portion is connected to the connecting portion while not being in contact with the second plane. The body portion is arranged so that the second plane is located between the body portion and the first plane in the up-down direction.

Resonator, multilayer board and electronic device

An inductor comprises a magnetic core and a coil. The magnetic core has a wound portion around which the coil is wound, and a peripheral portion. The magnetic core is formed from two or more preliminarily-formed-bodies which are pressure-molded in a state where the coil winds one or more preliminarily-formed-bodies which form the wound portion. The preliminarily-formed-bodies include at least one preliminarily-formed-body which forms the peripheral portion while not form the wound portion. Each of the preliminarily-formed-bodies is made of a mixture of flat magnetic powders and an organic binder so as to have a plate-like shape. The flat magnetic powders are oriented so as to be parallel to the preliminarily-formed-body.

Inductor

A coil antenna having a magnetic core and a wire wound around the magnetic core. The magnetic core is flexible and bendable and is made of a mixture including soft magnetic powder and an organic binder agent. The soft magnetic powder comprises a plurality of particles, each of which is coated with an insulator layer which is made of an oxide layer.

Coil antenna

A coil antenna is disclosed comprising a magnetic core and a wire wound around the magnetic core. The magnetic core is made of a mixture comprising soft magnetic powder and an organic binder agent. The magnetic core has a specific complex permeability whose real part &#x3bc;' is 20 or more over a frequency range of 10 MHz or less and whose imaginary part &#x3bc;&#x2033; is 10 or more over a frequency range of 10 MHz or more so that the magnetic core is also servable as a noise suppressor against high-frequency noise.

To detect an impact due to a shock with high precision and stability, a shock sensor is employed which provides a sufficiently long closure interval of a contact of a reed switch (1) enough to carry out signal processing. A gap between an outer surface of a magnet (2) and an inner wall (8) of a housing (7) defining a passage for the magnet (2) comprises a first gap (G1) between a stationary position and an activating position and a second gap (G2) between the activating position and a stop position. The inner wall (8) is formed so that the first gap (G1) is greater than the second gap (G2). The velocity of the magnet (2) is lower when travelling in the second gap (G2) than the velocity in the first gap (G1) because air resistance is greater in the second gap (G2). Accordingly, the closure interval is increased. Alternatively, the closure interval of the contact of the reed switch (1) is adjusted by first and second coil springs (3, 49) which independently urge first and second magnets (2, 48) in an anti-impact direction, respectively. To cope with various collision modes, spring constants (k1, k2) of the first and the second coil springs (3, 49) and masses (m1, m2) of the first and the second magnets (2, 48) are selected so that the velocity of shock-responsive movement is different between a first group comprising the first magnet (2) and the first coil spring (3) and a second group comprising the second magnet (48) and the second coil spring (49).

Shock sensor

An orthodontic teeth alignment correction wire element made of an alloy represented by the chemical formula of Ti.sub.a Ni.sub.b-c C.sub.c, wherein a+b=100, b=50-52, c=0.25-5.0, or an alloy represented by the chemical formula of Ti.sub.a Ni.sub.b-c-d C.sub.c X.sub.d, wherein X is at least one element selected from V, Cr, Fe, Nb, Ta, W, and Al, wherein a+b=100, b=50-52, c=0.25-5.0, d=0.25-2.0, and exhibits pseudoelasticity at the natural human body temperature. The wire has different recovery forces at different sections therealong by heat treating those sections at controlled temperatures of 400.degree.-600.degree. C. and for controlled time periods of 10-150 minutes and thereafter reheat treating them. An orthodontic coil is made of each of the above-described alloy wires for correction of mismatch of the upper and the lower jaws.
