A steam turbine exhaust chamber for guiding steam after passing through a rotor blade of a final stage of a steam turbine to outside of the steam turbine includes: a casing; a bearing cone; and a flow guide. An inner surface of the casing includes an inner circumferential surface extending along an axial direction of the rotor at a radially outer side of the flow guide and a side wall surface connecting the inner circumferential surface and the bearing cone. A first protruding portion is formed on the side wall surface along the circumferential direction above a horizontal plane including a rotational axis of the rotor. The first protruding portion is positioned at an outer side, in the radial direction of the rotor, of a downstream end of an inner circumferential surface of the flow guide in at least a partial range in the circumferential direction.

Steam turbine exhaust chamber and steam turbine

A variable geometry turbine includes a variable nozzle unit for adjusting a flow of exhaust gas in an exhaust gas passage for introducing exhaust gas to the turbine rotor. The variable nozzle unit includes a plurality of nozzle vanes disposed in the exhaust gas passage at intervals in the circumferential direction of the turbine rotor. When the exhaust gas passage is divided into a near-tongue region in the vicinity of a tongue portion of the scroll passage and a far-tongue region which is a region other than the near-tongue region, the plurality of nozzle vanes includes at least one near-tongue nozzle vane disposed in the near-tongue region and at least one far-tongue nozzle vane disposed in the far-tongue region. The at least one near-tongue nozzle vane has, in at least one of a leading edge or a trailing edge of the near-tongue nozzle vane, a notch that is cut out to a greater extent than a leading edge or a trailing edge of the far-tongue nozzle vane.

Variable geometry turbine and turbocharger

A turbocharger gas casing includes a scroll part forming a plurality of scroll passages at a same position in an axial direction of the turbine. The plurality of scroll passages include a first scroll passage. The first scroll passage is configured so that an extension line of a line segment connecting a farthest position from a rotational axis of the turbine at an inlet for an exhaust gas of the first scroll passage and a position of a tip of a tongue part formed on an inner peripheral side of the first scroll passage does not intersect a rotor blade of the turbine in a cross section of the turbine orthogonal to the axial direction.

Turbocharger gas casing and turbocharger

A turbine is provided with: a turbine wheel configured to rotate about an axis O; a turbine housing accommodating the turbine wheel and defining an annular nozzle passage on the outer peripheral side of the turbine wheel; and a plurality of low solidity nozzle vanesarranged in the nozzle passage at an interval in the circumferential direction. Circumferentially adjacent low solidity nozzle vanesare disposed at different radial positions in a connection position of each of the low solidity nozzle vaneswith a hub-side wall surface of the hub-side wall surface and a shroud-side wall surface which define the nozzle passage.

Turbine and turbocharger

An impeller includes: a disk-shaped hub centered on an axis; and a plurality of blades arranged in a circumferential direction and protruding from a surface of the hub facing one side in a direction of the axis. In a cross-sectional view including a blade height direction which is a direction away from the hub toward a tip of each blade, the blade has a recessed surface curved convexly toward a rear side in a rotational direction. In the cross-sectional view, when a distance between an imaginary line connecting a tip-side edge and a hub-side edge of the blade and a midspan of the blade along a direction perpendicular to the imaginary line is defined as a recess amount, the blade has a portion where the recess amount increases from a leading edge side to a trailing edge side.

Impeller and centrifugal compressor

A steam turbine hollow stationary blade is able to reduce the amount of water droplets captured on a blade surface. The steam turbine hollow stationary blade, which has a cavity therein, includes a partition wall dividing the cavity into a pressure chamber on a leading edge side and an exhaust chamber on a trailing edge side, at least one steam inlet hole connecting the pressure chamber and an outside of the stationary blade to each other, and at least one pressure conditioning hole connecting the pressure chamber and the exhaust chamber. Total opening area of the pressure conditioning hole is smaller than total opening area of the steam inlet hole.

Steam turbine hollow blade

A stator vane for a steam turbine includes: a vane body having an airfoil cross section including a pressure-side partition wall having a concave surface shape and a suction-side partition wall having a convex surface shape, the vane body having a hollow section formed between an inner surface of the pressure-side partition wall and an inner surface of the suction-side partition wall; and a first division wall dividing the hollow section into a first hollow section positioned at a leading edge side and a second hollow section positioned at a trailing edge side. The first hollow section is configured to be supplied with a fluid, or as a sealed space, and a slit is formed on at least one of the pressure-side partition wall or the suction-side partition wall, the slit being in communication with the second hollow section.

Stator vane for steam turbine, steam turbine, and method for heating stator vane for steam turbine

A turbine nozzle includes a plurality of blades arranged so as to form a tapered flow passage between each two adjacent blades. A suction surface of each blade includes a curved surface, and a throat of the flow passage is formed between the curved surface of one blade and a trailing edge of the other blade of the two adjacent blades at a throat position. An upstream end of the curved surface is positioned upstream of the throat position, and a downstream end of the curved surface is positioned downstream of the throat position.
