The method includes: obtaining (S), in response to detecting a swiping operation, a screen scrolling speed; in response to the screen scrolling speed satisfying a predetermined frame-rate-adjustment condition, obtaining (S) a current frame rate of a screen, a predetermined target frame rate, and a screen scrolling time length corresponding to the swiping operation; determining a current frame period based on the current frame rate, and determining a target frame period based on the predetermined target frame rate (S); determining (S) a frame period change based on the current frame period, the target frame period, and the screen scrolling time length; and adjusting (S) the current frame rate of the screen based on the frame period change during a screen scrolling period.
