Systems and methods presented herein include a computing system that includes a non-transitory memory and one or more hardware processors configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to perform operations. The operations include detecting one or more pumps of a wellsite system that are activated. The operations also include generating a graphical user interface. The graphical user interface includes a pump list panel comprising one or more pump icons, each pump icon corresponding to a pump of the one or more pumps. The graphical user interface also includes a manifold layout panel comprising a manifold outline that represents an actual physical layout of one or more manifolds of the wellsite system. The operations also include receiving, via the graphical user interface, an input assigning a pump icon of the one or more pump icons onto a pump location of the manifold outline. The operations further include updating the graphical user interface to display one or more operating parameters of the pump corresponding to the pump icon proximate the pump icon.

Patterns on automated fracturing pump setup and operations

A technique for remote pairing of pumps and manifold valves at an oilfield. The technique takes advantage of a control unit having remote capability of opening and closing manifold valves. The control unit may also be in simultaneous communication with an individual sensor for each pump. Thus, unique protocols of valve opening and closing at the manifold in conjunction with monitoring of fluid-based detections by the unit may be used to establish pairing between specific pumps and manifold valves. Similarly, the system may also be inspected for leaks at particular locations through unique valve opening and closing sequences in conjunction with fluid monitoring.

Remote manifold valve and pump pairing technique for a multi-pump system

Changing a cumulative pumping rate of multiple pump units by adjusting individual pumping rates of the pump units, wherein each temporary dip or spike of an individual pumping rate of one of the pump units is automatically offset by a predetermined temporary adjustment of an individual pumping rate of another one or more of the pump units to thereby reduce effects of the temporary dip or spike on the cumulative pumping rate of the pump units.

Automated control of hydraulic fracturing pumps

Systems and method for controlling wellsite equipment, including pumps and a manifold having a low-pressure (LP) manifold, having LP ports with LP valves, and a high-pressure (HP) manifold, having HP ports with HP valves and bleed ports with bleed valves. The pumps are fluidly coupled with the LP manifold via LP conduits and with the HP manifold via HP conduits. Communication is established between a controller and the LP valves, the HP valves, the bleed valves, the pumps, and sensors for monitoring pressure within the HP conduits. The controller is operable to, with respect to each pump, cause the LP valve to transition to a closed position, cause the HP and/or bleed valve to transition to an open position, and determine that the HP conduit is not pressurized based on the information generated by the sensors.

Automated operation of wellsite equipment

A supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) unit and technique for managing communications over a network of defined capacity. The unit and techniques include safeguarding the network while allowing for operations to proceed at an oilfield. The safeguards allow for multiple additional and different types of equipment to be added to or removed from the network while being managed by a single SCADA unit. This may be achieved through unique filtering protocols which prevent unidentified and/or unconfirmed equipment and devices from being added to the network merely due to be detected at the oilfield.
