A control method for a refrigerator comprises driving a first cooling fan to cool a first storage chamber; adjusting a damper to cause cold air to simultaneously flow through first and second cold-air passages; adjusting a damper to reduce the opening angle of the first cold-air passage, when the temperature of a high-temperature chamber reaches a value smaller than or equal to a second reference temperature for the high-temperature chamber; adjusting a damper to reduce the opening angle of the second cold-air passage, when the temperature of a low-temperature chamber reaches a value smaller than or equal to a second reference temperature for the low-temperature chamber; and driving a second cooling fan to cool a second storage chamber. When a predetermined time elapses or the sensed temperature of the high-temperature chamber reaches a first set temperature, the damper is adjusted to increase the opening angle of the first cold-air passage.

A control method for a refrigerator comprises: sensing a temperature of a first storage chamber; increasing an output of a first cooling fan if the temperature reaches a value greater than or equal to a second reference temperature; reducing the output of the first cooling fan if the temperature reaches a value less than or equal to a first reference temperature; increasing the output of the first cooling fan if a first reference time has passed after the temperature has reached the value or if the temperature reaches a first setting temperature between the first reference temperature and the second reference temperature; and reducing the output of the first cooling fan if a second reference time has passed after the output of the first cooling fan has been changed, or if the temperature reaches a preset second setting temperature between the first setting temperature and the first reference temperature.

A control method for a refrigerator comprises: decreasing an output of at least one of a cold air supply means for a first storage chamber or stopping the cold air supply means, if a sensed temperature of the first storage chamber reaches a value less than or equal to a second reference temperature; increasing the output, if a certain time has passed after the temperature has reached the value less than or equal to the second reference temperature, or if the temperature reaches a first specific value between a first reference temperature and the second reference temperature; and decreasing the output or stopping the cold air supply means, if a certain time has passed after the output of the air supply means has been changed in a previous step, or if the temperature reaches a preset second specific value between the first specific value and the second reference temperature.

The present invention provides a control method for a refrigerator that can acquire a pump-down effect without performing an additional pump-down process and furthermore, efficiently utilize residual cool air remaining in a freezer evaporator.
