A method and a system for providing undo/redo capabilities in mixed model editors. More specifically, the method and system relate to undoing modifications made in a first edit context such that the result can correctly be displayed in a second edit context. Further, the modifications made may be tracked in the multiple contexts and organized such that the modifications are undone and redone correctly.

Compound undo/redo manager for mixed model edits

A method for generating authentication code for web service resources. The method includes receiving a selection of a resource method, where the resource method defines a method for interacting with a resource associated with a web service. The method further includes determining an authentication scheme for the resource method, where the authentication scheme defines an authentication mechanism required during execution of the resource method to enable interaction with the resource. The method further includes generating authentication code for the resource method using the authentication scheme, where the authentication code enables a user executing the resource method to interact with the resource.

Method and system for providing authentication schemes for web services

Iterative development of services may be provided by simultaneously developing service implementations and the corresponding WSDL description. At least one web service may be specified by WSDL code accepted as input. Output code may be created corresponding to each of the inputted web service. A graphical display item may be displayed corresponding to each inputted web service. The WSDL code, output code, and graphical display may be updated to reflect user input modifying a web service. A WSDL document and/or an output code document may be generated including modified web services.

Iterative development of services from WSDL

A REST application may be explored through discovery of resources and exercising of methods. A user interface displays a graphical representation of the REST application based on a model constructed in memory. User input selects a resource. Methods associated with the selected resource are displayed. A user may select a method and provide input. A request is automatically sent to the server based on the selected method. A representation of the response to the request is displayed on the user interface, allowing the user to further explore the application.

REST application exploration

A method for selecting an annotation processor associated with an annotation for reprocessing is provided. The annotation is included in a computer software source code. An annotation snapshot is captured and a hash value is generated for the annotation snapshot. The annotation snapshot hash value is compared with a hash value of a previous annotation snapshot. The annotation processor associated with the annotation is marked for reprocessing when the annotation snapshot hash value is different from the hash value of the previous annotation snapshot.
