Semiconductor memory device includes a memory cell array and an interface circuit including an ECC engine. The memory cell array includes a normal cell region and a parity cell region including a first sub parity region and a second sub parity region. The interface circuit receives main data and sub data comprising external parity or a data mask signal, generates a flag signal based on mask bits of the data mask signal, performs ECC encoding operation on the main data in response to an operation mode and the flag signal, stores the main data in the normal cell region, stores either the external parity or the flag signal in the second sub parity region in response to the operation mode, performs an ECC decoding operation on the main data read from the normal cell region in response to the operation mode and the flag signal.

A method for adjusting bandwidth, a bandwidth scaler and an apparatus are provided. The method for adjusting bandwidth involves determining a dynamic context of a processor, and based on the determined dynamic context, scaling bandwidth between the processor and a memory.

A multicore computer architecture provides for clock dividers on each core, the clock dividers capable of providing rapid changes in the clock frequency of the core. The clock dividers are used to reduce the clock frequency of individual cores spinning while waiting for a synchronization instruction resolution such as a lock variable. Core power demands may be decreased before and after change in dock speed to reduce power bus disruption.

Energy-efficient multicore processor architecture for parallel processing

A turbofan and a mold used to manufacture the same, which enables the turbofan to be integrally molded by a single molding process. The turbofan has a rotating plate coupled to a shaft of a driving motor at its center, a plurality of blades radially disposed at and integrally formed with a periphery of the rotating plate, and a ring-shaped shroud integrally formed with front ends of the blades to face the rotating plate. The mold has a first mold part having a rear molding member to shape a rear portion of the rotating plate; a second mold part to be combined with the first mold part and having a front molding member to shape a front portion of the turbofan at an area corresponding to the rear molding member; a plurality of slide cores adapted to be radially moved to shape an inner surface of the shroud, outer portions of a front surface of the rotating plate, and outer surfaces of the blades; and a plurality of auxiliary cores extending to the inner surface of the shroud from the rear molding member of the first mold part to shape undercut portions of inner surfaces of the blades.
