A touch substrate includes a base substrate, a common electrode and a wire electrode. The base substrate has a plurality of common electrode areas. A common electrode is disposed in each of the common electrode areas. The common electrode has a plurality of first electrode lines extended in a first direction and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction and a plurality of second electrode lines arranged in the first direction. The wire electrode is connected to an end of the common electrode to apply a voltage to the common electrode. The common electrode and the wire electrode are simultaneously formed through a same process using a printing substrate.

In a method of manufacturing an offset printing substrate and a method of manufacturing a display substrate, the method includes forming a first coating layer on a base substrate on which is formed a first concave pattern having a first width. An intermediate substrate is also formed upon the first coating layer of the base substrate, the intermediate substrate having a pattern corresponding to the first concave pattern. An offset printing substrate is also formed upon the pattern of the intermediate substrate, the offset printing substrate having a second concave pattern is formed to correspond to the pattern of the intermediate substrate, and the second concave pattern has a second width smaller than the first width.

Method of manufacturing an offset printing substrate and method of manufacturing a display substrate using the same

In a polarizing liquid crystal panel and a display apparatus including the polarizing liquid crystal panel, the polarizing liquid crystal panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a plastic substrate, a first electrode on the plastic substrate, and a first alignment layer on the first electrode. The second substrate includes a base substrate which opposes the first substrate, a second electrode on the base substrate, and a second alignment layer on the second electrode. The liquid crystal layer is between the first and second substrates and polarizes a light using an electric field between the first and second electrodes.

Polarizing liquid crystal panel and display apparatus including the same

A polarizing liquid crystal panel includes a first substrate including a first base substrate, a first alignment layer, and a first electrode between the first base substrate and the first alignment layer, a second substrate including a second base substrate, a second alignment layer, and a second electrode between the second base substrate and the second alignment layer, the second substrate facing the first substrate, a spacer between the first and second substrates and maintaining a cell gap therebetween, and a liquid crystal flow preventing portion between the first and second substrates. The liquid crystal flow preventing portion extends in a first direction, and restricts movement of the spacer in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction.

Polarizing liquid crystal panel, display apparatus including the same and method of manufacturing the same

A homogenous thin film layer is patterned into a transparent conductive portion and a non-conductive portion without use of etching through the thin film. Instead, conductive fine-wires which are convertible in one embodiment into non-conductive fine-wires are selectively converted into the non-conductive form. In an alternate embodiment, the homogenous thin film layer which includes conductive fine-wires is provided in a curable liquid form and selected portions of the liquid formed are cured into being affixed to substrate. Remaining portions can be washed away. In the case of display devices using transparent electrodes, a thin thin-film transistor array substrate is provided where the initially homogenous thin film which is and then converted into patterned conductive and non-conductive sections forms the pixel-electrodes and/or common electrode of the display device.

A gravure printing method is provided that includes: patterning a substrate to form a printing substrate having a recess portion and a convex portion; forming a first self-assembled monolayer on the surface of the recess portion; forming a second self-assembled monolayer on the surface of the convex portion; filling ink into the recess portion; and transferring the ink filled in the recess portion to a printing object substrate, wherein the first and second self-assembled monolayers respectively formed on the surfaces of the recess portion and the convex portion have different surface energies.

Gravure printing method

A touch display panel may include a display unit and a touch unit. The display unit may include a first base substrate having a plurality of pixel electrodes, a second base substrate including a common electrode disposed on a first face of the second base substrate, and an electro optical layer disposed between the pixel electrodes and the common electrode. The first face faces the first base substrate. The touch unit includes a color filter layer including a plurality of color filters and a first electrode part including first electrodes disposed on a second face of the second base substrate, and a third base substrate including a second electrode part extended along a direction crossing the first electrodes. The first electrodes may be disposed on a boundary area of the color filters having different colors from each other, so that mixing of the colors is prevented.

Touch display panel and method of manufacturing the same

A method of forming ink patterns and an apparatus for printing ink patterns capable of reducing the amount of wasted ink and enhancing the printing and positional precision of the shape of ink patterns on a member to be printed, are described herein. The method includes providing a first printing member including first concave portions formed by engraving patterns larger than final ink patterns, that are to be printed on a member, on the first printing member; filling the first concave portions of the first printing member with ink; transferring the ink filling the first concave portions of the first printing member onto a blanket cylinder to form intermediate ink patterns; providing a second printing member including second concave portions formed by engraving patterns equal in size to the final ink patterns that are to be printed on the member, on the second printing member; closely attaching the blanket cylinder having the intermediate patterns to the second printing member to remove ink on portions of the blanket cylinder that contact convex portions of the second printing member, from the blanket cylinder; and printing ink that remains on the blanket cylinder, on the member to form the final ink patterns.
