To a hermetic compressor and a refrigeration cycle device having the same, an oil separator for separating oil from a refrigerant discharged from a compression unit is added. Separated oil is recollected into an oil pump driven by a driving motor. Because refrigerant separated from the oil is prevented from being re-introduced into the compressor, a cooling capability of the refrigeration cycle device may be enhanced. Because the oil pump is driven by the driving force of the driving motor, the compressor may have a simplified configuration, and the fabrication costs may be reduced. The oil used for a crankshaft lubrication process is returned to the oil pump by forming an oil pocket between bearing surfaces of a crankshaft and the oil pump, oil may be prevented from back-flowing to the oil separator from the crankshaft. This may allow oil to be smoothly recollected into the oil pump.

Hermetic compressor including a backflow preventing portion and refrigeration cycle device having the same

Disclosed are a hermetic compressor and a refrigeration cycle device having the same. An oil separator for separating oil from a refrigerant is installed outside a casing. The oil separated by the oil separator is recollected into the casing by an oil pump driven by a driving force of a driving motor. The oil is recollected from the refrigerant and fabrication costs are be reduced. A cooling capability of the refrigeration cycle device is enhanced, the compressor has a simplified configuration, and the fabrication costs are reduced. Because an outlet of a discharge opening through which oil is discharged to the casing from the oil pump is installed at a position lower than a minimum level of oil in the casing, the refrigerant is prevented from backflowing into an oil passage, and the occurrence of air bubbles on the surface of oil in the compressor may be prevented.

Hermetic compressor and refrigeration cycle device having the same

A hermetic compressor and a refrigeration cycle device having the same are provided. An oil separator is installed either outside or inside of a casing to separate oil from a discharged refrigerant and an oil pump driven by a driving force of a motor is used to recollect the oil separated in the oil separator, whereby the separation between oil and refrigerant can effectively be performed and also a fabricating cost can be reduced. Also, an introduction of the separated refrigerant back into the compressor can be prevented so as to improve a cooling capability of the refrigeration cycle device. In addition, the oil pump is driven by the driving force of the motor, resulting in a simple configuration of the compressor and a reduction of a fabricating cost of the compressor.

A hermetic compressor is provided, including a casing, having a suction pipe and discharge pipe connected thereto, a driving motor installed within the casing, a compressing device installed within the casing and operated by the driving motor to form compression chambers, an oil separator that separates oil from a refrigerant discharged from by compressing device, and an oil collecting pipe through which the oil separator communicates with the compression chambers. With this structure, oil can be appropriately supplied to one or more compressors based on capacity, thus improving reliability of oil distribution and enhancing compressor performance.

Hermetic compressor and refrigeration cycle having the same

A compressor and oil separation device therefore are provided. The oil separation device is integrated with a compressor and includes a first case having a refrigerant inlet into which a refrigerant mixed with oil is sucked and an oil recollecting member through which oil separated from the refrigerant flows, and a second case positioned outside of the first case and having a refrigerant outlet through which refrigerant separated from an oil is discharged. With this constructions, a pipe connecting the compressor and a separate oil separation device is not required, thereby reducing fabrication costs and facilitating installation.

An eccentric coupling device in a radial compliance scroll compressor including a bush rotatably fitted in a boss of an orbiting scroll, and provided with a crank pin hole extending vertically throughout the bush, a crank pin eccentrically arranged at an upper end of a crankshaft adapted to orbit the orbiting scroll, and fitted in the crank pin hole while allowing a radial movement of the bush in the crank pin hole, the crank pin having an oil passage, and a cover member fitted in the crank pin hole at an upper end portion of the crank pin hole, and adapted to guide oil, fed through the oil passage, to be supplied between the slide bush and the boss. The crank pin is fitted in the crank pin hole such that an upper end thereof is arranged at a level lower than an upper end of the slide bush. The crank pin is eccentrically arranged with respect to the crankshaft. The oil passage communicates with an oil passage extending through the crankshaft.
