The storage device has instructions stored thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations. The operations include receiving first data from the sensor. The operations include determining whether the device is experiencing an event condition based on the first data The operations include generating one or more potential corrective actions responsive to a determination that the device is experiencing the event condition. The operations include calculating a reward value for each of the one or more potential corrective actions. The operations include identifying a first corrective action of the one or more potential corrective actions with a largest or most positive reward value The operations include controlling the device according to the first corrective action.

Event driven control schemas for artificial lift

A method for detecting events includes receiving measurements from a plurality of sensors, and executing a machine learning model trained to identify events based on the measurements. The machine learning model identifies the events based on the measurements. The method also includes determining based on the measurements and the identified events that training applied to the machine learning model is to be modified. A modified training data set is generated based on the measurements and an initial training data set used to train the machine learning model to identify the events. The modified training data set is applied to retrain the machine learning model.

System and method for managing wellsite event detection

In one example, a notification may be generated to prompt a user to clean a personal computing device. The notification may be based upon usage data of the personal computing device. Multiple types of usage data may be determined and combined to create a composite usage value. The composite usage value may be compared to a threshold usage value. A method for monitoring operation of an electric submersible pump. The method includes receiving data signals indicating values for a plurality of parameters regarding operation of the electric submersible pumping system; establishing, for at least some of the plurality of parameters, an associated reference signal; and detecting a deviation of one of the parameters from the reference signal associated with that parameter. As a result of the deviation having a rate of change below a predetermined threshold, the method includes updating the value of the reference signal to reflect the deviation. As a result of the deviation having a rate of change above the predetermined threshold, the method includes detecting an event and generating an indication of the event. The indication of the event further depends on a type of the parameter and a direction of the deviation from the reference signal.

An apparatus may include a basic input/output system (BIOS) coupled to a controller. A communication port may be coupled to the controller. The controller may determine that the communication port has entered a locked state, send a first signal to the communication port to power off a bus associated with the communication port for a threshold period of time, and send a second signal to the communication port to power on the bus associated with the communication port in response to expiration of the threshold period of time.

Example implementations relate to balancing a power load among USB ports. For example, an apparatus according to the present disclosure, may include a plurality of USB ports, and an embedded controller coupled to the plurality of USB ports. The embedded controller may determine that a first device is coupled to a USB port of the plurality of USB ports, and determine a power draw of the first device relative to a type of the USB port. The embedded controller may balance a power load among a remainder of the plurality of USB ports based on the power draw of the first device relative to the type of the USB port.

Examples disclose a computing system comprising a host device with a connection socket to support multiple types of cables by detecting a first key position and a second key position for determination of the type of cable. Further, the computing system comprises a switching circuit to determine a logic state of each of the key positions. Additionally, the switching circuit is to deliver power associated with the type of cable based on the logic states of the key positions.
