A fuel injection valve equipped with an in-cylinder pressure sensor is provided, in which the fuel injection valve is fitted into an injection valve mounting hole provided in an engine, the in-cylinder pressure sensor is attached to a valve housing part of the fuel injection valve, the in-cylinder pressure sensor having a front end facing the combustion chamber and detecting a pressure of the combustion chamber, and a signal transmission device is connected to the in-cylinder pressure sensor, the signal transmission device transmitting an output signal thereof to an outside. The signal transmission device is disposed on the valve housing part and covered together with a part of the valve housing part by an insulating layer. In such arrangement, the signal transmission device is protected by the insulating layer, and a contact between the signal transmission device and an inner face of the injection valve mounting hole is prevented.

Fuel injection valve equipped with in-cylinder pressure sensor

A fuel injection valve equipped with an in-cylinder pressure sensor is provided in which a fuel injection valve is fitted into an injection valve mounting hole provided in an engine, the fuel injection valve injecting fuel from a front end of a valve housing part into a combustion chamber of the engine, and the in-cylinder pressure sensor, which is cylindrical and has a front end facing the combustion chamber, and a cylindrical signal circuit tube fitted and connected to an inner peripheral face of a rear end of the in-cylinder pressure sensor are fitted and fixed to an outer peripheral face of the valve housing part, housed in the injection valve mounting hole, of the fuel injection valve. In such fuel injection valve, the signal transmission device connected to an in-cylinder pressure sensor does not vibrate within an injection valve mounting hole, thus enabling its durability to be ensured.

In a fuel injection valve supporting structure, a contact surface being orthogonal to a center axis of a fuel injection valve and opposed to a fuel supply cap is formed in an intermediate portion of the fuel injection valve, a supporting member includes a base plate set on the contact surface and an elastic piece extending from the base plate, the elastic piece includes: a first elastic portion extending from the one end of the base plate and bent upwards in a U-shape; and a second elastic portion extending from the first elastic portion toward the other end while bending upwards, bringing its apex into pressure contact with the fuel supply cap, and making a tip end portion thereof slidably come into contact with the base plate, and a curvature radius of the second elastic portion is set larger than a curvature radius of the first elastic portion.

Fuel injection valve supporting structure

In a fuel injection valve supporting structure, a first contact surface being orthogonal to a center axis of a fuel injection valve and opposed to a fuel supply cap and paired second contact surfaces opposed to each other with a plane, including the center axis and a center line of a coupler, in between are formed in an intermediate portion of the fuel injection valve, and a supporting member includes: a base plate set on the first contact surface; an elastic piece extending from the base plate to elastically come into pressure contact with the fuel supply cap and bias the fuel injection valve toward an injection valve attachment hole by its reaction force; and paired turn stopper pieces each extending from the base plate to abut against the second contact surface and restrict a turn of the fuel injection valve about the center axis.
