Provided is an inner liner for a pneumatic tire including no less than 8 resin-layers, the resin-layer having a layer A constituted with a resin composition containing a resin having gas barrier properties, and a layer B that is adjacent to the layer A and is constituted with a resin composition containing an elastomer, an extensional viscosity &#x3b7;of the resin composition of the layer A, and an extensional viscosity &#x3b7;of the resin composition of the layer B as determined at a predetermined temperature both being no less than 1,000 Pa&#xb7;s, and an extensional viscosity ratio &#x3b7;/&#x3b7;being no less than 0.2 and no greater than 10.

Inner liner for pneumatic tire, method for producing the same, and pneumatic tire

To provide a multilayer structure having high gas bather property and crack resistance as well as excellent fatigue resistance, an inner liner for a pneumatic tire using the multilayer structure, and a pneumatic tire comprising the inner liner. According to the present invention, the multilayer structure includes a barrier layermade of polymer material with 50% or less elongation at break conforming to JIS K 7113 at 20&#xb0; C. and 65% RH and an elastomer layermade of polymer material with 100% or more elongation at break conforming to JIS K 7113 at 20&#xb0; C. and 65% RH, wherein a plastic deformation amount at the time of 100% strain input is larger than a deformation amount at a tolerance point.

Multilayer structure, inner liner for pneumatic tire, and pneumatic tire

To provide a multilayer structure having high gas barrier property and crack resistance as well as excellent fatigue resistance, an inner liner for a pneumatic tire using such a multilayer structure, and a pneumatic tire comprising the inner liner. According to the present invention, in a multilayer structureincluding a barrier layerand an elastomer layer, a proportion of a thickness of the elastomer layerin the multilayer structure ((U+U+ . . . +Un)/T) is 60% or more.

A blow molded container including (A) a layer containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer as a principal component, in which the layer (A) contains an unsaturated aldehyde, and the content of the unsaturated aldehyde in the layer (A) is 0.01 ppm or more and 100 ppm or less. The unsaturated aldehyde (II) is preferably an unsaturated aliphatic aldehyde. The unsaturated aldehyde (II) is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of crotonaldehyde, 2,4-hexadienal and 2,4,6-octatrienal. The layer (A) preferably contains a conjugated polyene compound, and the content of the conjugated polyene compound in the layer (A) is preferably 0.01 ppm or more and 1,000 ppm or less.

Blow molded container, fuel container, and method for producing blow molded container

To provide a multilayer structure that may adhere to rubber material without the necessity of providing an adhesive layer, an inner liner and a pneumatic tire using the multilayer structure. According to the present invention, a multilayer structureis formed by alternately laminating elastomer layerscontaining thermoplastic elastomer and barrier layerscontaining a gas barrier resin, wherein an outermost layerlaminated uppermost among layers constituting the multilayer structurecontains an elastomer component that may heat-adhere to diene rubber.

A fuel container with high fuel barrier properties is provided. The fuel container is a coextrusion blow-molded fuel container having a container body made of a layered structure. The layered structure comprises: a barrier layer made of a barrier resin (A); and an inner layer and an outer layer made of a thermoplastic resin (B) that is different from the barrier resin (A); wherein a ratio (X/Y) of a distance (X) between end portions of the barrier layer at a pinch-off part of the fuel container and an average thickness (Y) of the container body is at least 1/10000 and at most 1/10; and wherein a ratio (Y/Y) between a total thickness (Y) of the layers of the container body that are located on the inside with respect to the barrier layer and an average thickness (Y) of the container body is at least 3/10 and at most 7/10.

Fuel Container

A fuel container with high fuel barrier properties is provided. The fuel container is a coextrusion blow-molded fuel container having a container body made of a layered structure. The layered structure comprises: a barrier layer made of a barrier resin (A); and an inner layer and an outer layer made of a thermoplastic resin (B) that is different from the barrier resin (A); wherein a ratio (X/Y) of a distance (X) between end portions of the barrier layer at a pinch-off part of the fuel container and an average thickness (Y) of the container body is at least 1/10000 and at most 1/10; and wherein a ratio (Y1/Y) between a total thickness (Y1) of the layers of the container body that are located on the inside with respect to the barrier layer and an average thickness (Y) of the container body is at least 3/10 and at most 7/10.

Fuel container

A fuel container formed by bonding upper and lower sections, for which both the upper and lower sections are made by thermo-forming a multi-layer sheet that comprises an interlayer of a barrier resin (A) and inner and outer layers of a polyolefin (B), and of which the surface of the innermost layer is coated with a layer of a barrier material (C).

Fuel container having excellent gasoline barrier properties

Multilayer blow molded containers, which comprise a layer of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) having an ethylene content of 5 to 60% by mol and a degree of saponification of 85% or more and a layer of a resin composition (B), characterized in that the resin composition (B) comprises 1 to 40% by weight of a thermoplastic resin (b1) having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of boron-containing groups that are convertible to a boronic acid group in the presence of water and a boronic acid group (hereinafter, referred to as a boron-containing functional group), and 60 to 99% by weight of polypropylene (b2), exhibit excellent gas-barrier properties, have good interlayer adhesion, have excellent thermal stability, and are low in production cost.

Multilayer blow molded container

A fuel container with high fuel barrier properties is provided. The fuel container is a coextrusion blow-molded container made of a layered structure. The layered structure comprises: a barrier layer made of a barrier resin (A) and an inner layer located on an inner side of the container with respect to the barrier layer, the inner layer being made of a thermoplastic resin (B) that is different from the barrier resin (A); wherein the container has a pinch-off part formed in a process of blow molding of a parison made of the layer structure, and wherein the pinch-off part has a cutting face comprising a cutting face of the barrier layer and a cutting face of the inner layer; and wherein the cutting face of the inner layer is covered by a barrier member made of a barrier material (C) that is the same or different from the barrier resin (A).

Coinjection stretch blow molded container

A multilayer injection blow molded container of this invention, containing a layer of a specific ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and a layer of a resin composition (B) comprising a thermoplastic resin (b1) having a specific functional group and polypropylene (b2), is disclosed, having characteristics that it has excellent gas-barrier properties, has good interlayer adhesion, has excellent thermal stability and can be produced with a low cost.

Multilayer injection blow molded container

The present invention provides a multilayered structure where an A layer made of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin (A) and a C layer made of a polypropylene resin (C) are laminated via a B layer made of an adhesive resin (B). The ethylene content of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin (A) is 20 to 60 mol %, and the saponification degree of the resin (A) is at least 90%. The melt flow rate (MFR) of the polypropylene resin (C) at 230&deg; C. under a load of 2160 g is in the range from 0.1 to 100 g/10 min, and the stereoregularity index &lsqb;M5&rsqb; of the polypropylene resin (C) is at least 0.950. Such a multilayered structure has excellent gas barrier properties and moldability.

Multilayered structure

The molded component is formed by mixing or laminating a barrier resin (A) having a solubility parameter (calculated from the Fedors' equation) of more than 11 and a thermoplastic resin (B) having a solubility parameter (calculated from the Fedors' equation) of not more than 11. The molded component has excellent gasoline barrier properties and also excellent performance in thermal fusion properties and mechanical strength. The fuel container provided with such a molded component is significantly improved with regard to leakage of fuel from the molded component portion.
