In one embodiment, a method can provide: receiving a user selection of a power generation plant component in a first navigation menu of a human-machine interface (HMI); based at least in part on the user selection, generating a second navigation menu of the HMI; receiving a subsequent user selection of a subcomponent in the second navigation menu of the HMI, wherein the subcomponent is associated with the power generation plant component; generating a control region for the HMI, the control region operable to manipulate the subcomponent; receiving a user input for the control region; and based at least in part on the user input, facilitating manipulation of one or more operations of the subcomponent.

Systems and methods for controlling power generation plant operations via a human-machine interface

One or more industrial machines is selected from a navigation screen. The selected one or more industrial machines represents a context. A database is accessed and a visualization related to the one or more industrial machines and associated with the context is retrieved. Method and apparatus for enabling model driven navigation

This disclosure relates to systems and methods for processing and graphically displaying power plant data. In one embodiment, one or more values corresponding to one or more parameters associated with the performance of one or more power plant components may be received. A subset of the parameters associated with one or more operational characteristics based in part on the values may be determined. One or more display parameters may be selected that includes inputting at least a numerical range associated with at least one axis. The one or more parameter values in the subset may be scaled based in part on the inputted numerical range. A graphical representation may be generated and output on a graphical user interface that includes the one or more values within the numerical range on the at least one axis corresponding to each parameters in the subset based in part on the one or more display parameters.

Systems and methods for processing and graphically displaying power plant data

Systems and methods for generating models of control systems based on the data emitted by the PLCs of the control system are disclosed. It is initially determined if the data of a PLC is structured data or unstructured data. If the data emitted by the PLC is structured data, a model of the control system is automatically generated based on the structured data from the PLC. If the data is unstructured data, information regarding the assets in the control system is obtained from another data source other than the PLC and a model of the control system is generated based on the received information and the data.

Embodiments of the disclosure relate to automatic switching of HMI (human-machine interface) screens based on process, task, and abnormal deviation in a power plant. According to one embodiment, a method is provided. The method can include monitoring one or more processes occurring during the operation of a turbine power plant in a steady state monitoring sequence, in which a plurality of overview screens are monitored, and at least one process state is determined. If the at least one process state indicates a predefined condition has occurred, at least one human interface screen can be presented to a user for troubleshooting, based at least in part on the severity of the predefined condition. If the determined process state does not indicate the predefined condition is present, and the at least one determined process state indicates an automated task sequence, the method present a sequence of preconfigured task screens to a user.

According to one embodiment of the invention, a method for converting a turbine control system may be provided for. The method may include providing a first application code format including one or more elements, providing a second application code format including one or more elements, and identifying mappings of the one or more first application code format elements to the one or more second application code format elements. The method may further include retrieving a first control system application code written in the first application code format, and generating application data from the first control system application code based at least in part on the identified mappings. Additionally, the method may include converting the application data to a second control system application code written in the second application code format.
