A heat development and transfer process in which a photosensitive material and an image receiving material are laminated and wound around an outer peripheral surface of a drum, the photosensitive material and the image receiving material being pressed and laminated between at least one roller and the drum. The photosensitive material and the image receiving material are heated while being conveyed along the outer peripheral surface of the drum synchronously with a rotation of the drum. The photosensitive material and the image receiving material laminated are kept in a state in which they are pressed onto the outer peripheral surface of the drum by a belt supporting mechanism or a roller support mechanism. Subsequently, the photosensitive material and the image receiving material are passed through the entrance of the heating conveying path again, and then the photosensitive material and the image receiving material are stripped.

Image forming method and image forming apparatus

A photosensitive material which when imagewise exposed to record a latent image thereon is formed with an image by heating with a prescribed processing material superimposed thereon is used as a photographic film or the like, the photosensitive material is exposed to record an image thereon, the exposed photosensitive material is developed by superimposing and heating the photosensitive material and the processing material to form the image on the photosensitive material and then peeling the photosensitive material formed with the image off the processing material, the developed image on the photosensitive material is read with a scanner to obtain image data representing the image, and the image data are subjected to prescribed image processing to generate reproducible digital image data.

Image forming method and system

An image forming apparatus in which dry developing processing section which carries out a developing processing which makes visible a latent image which has been recorded on a photosensitive material by laminating to each other the photosensitive material on which the latent image has been recorded and a processing material containing a processing agent and carrying out a heat-processing thereon; a data generating section which picks up the image which has been developed and generates digital image data; an exposing section which exposes a heat developing photosensitive material on the basis of the digital image data so that a latent image corresponding to the digital image data is recorded; and a heat developing transfer section which carries out a developing processing which makes visible a latent image which has been recorded on a heat developing photosensitive material by laminating to each other the heat developing photosensitive material which has been exposed and the image receiving material and carrying out a heat-processing thereon, and a transfer processing which transfers the image which has been developed onto the image receiving material, are housed in one casing.

Image forming apparatus

A development control method capable of adequately determining exposed frames of a silver halide photosensitive material so as to develop the exposed frames. When a photographing operation is performed by using a predetermined negative film, exposure completion information indicating completion of exposure is recorded at a position corresponding to the position of each frame. When the negative film accommodated in a magazine is drawn out so as to be developed, reading of exposure completion information corresponding to the first frame is tried. If exposure completion information can be read, a determination can be performed that the frame has been exposed. Therefore, reading of exposure completion information corresponding to a next frame is tried. Reading of exposure completion information is sequentially tried for the following frames. When exposure completion information cannot be read, all of the exposed frames are determined to be detected. Thus, the negative film is cut at a boundary between the final exposed frame and a non-exposed region. Only the exposed frames are developed, while the non-exposed region is rewound into the magazine.

Development control method developing apparatus and image exposing

A heating device, in which a photosensitive material and an image receiving material can be heated quickly and which has a reduced number of parts. A plate-shaped heating plate, which can move reciprocally within the device, is provided at a heat development transfer section. Attaching/peeling rollers, which can move closer to and away from the heating plate, are disposed above the heating plate. Further, a photosensitive material peeling pawl and an image receiving material peeling pawl are provided on the sides of the attaching/peeling rollers. During two reciprocal movements of the heating plate, the photosensitive material and the image receiving material are loaded on the heating plate, heat-development-transferred, and peeled. Because the respective materials are pressed by the attaching/peeling rollers and adhered to the heating plate, good heat development transfer can be effected in a short time. Moreover, since the pressures of the attaching/peeling rollers are decreased at the time of peeling of the materials, the materials can be peeled easily by the respective peeling pawls.

Heating device

A photosensitive material processing apparatus includes a heating drum, against which a processing sheet is pressed. A film is sandwiched between the processing sheet and the heating drum and is transported thereby while being heated, so that the film undergoes heat development. Accordingly, through a simple development process, images can be formed on the film. In addition, the maintainability of the photosensitive material processing apparatus can be improved.

Photosensitive material processing apparatus

Disclosed are an apparatus for and a method of recording an image in which a heat-developable light-sensitive material and an image-receiving material are superposed on each other and the superposed two materials are inserted between an outer periphery of a heating drum and an endless belt wound around a plurality of rollers and are wound around the outer periphery of the heating drum by pressing the two materials against the outer periphery of the heating drum by the endless belt, and the heating drum is rotated by being pressed by the endless belt, so as to heat develop the heat-developable light-sensitive material and allow an image formed by heat development to be transferred onto the image-receiving material. Between the outer periphery of the heating drum and one of the rollers located on the insertion side, a gap is provided between the endless belt and the outer periphery of the heating drum on a line connecting an axis of the heating drum and an axis of the roller around which the endless belt is wound, and the two materials are inserted between the heating drum and the endless belt through this gap. Accordingly, when the two materials are inserted, the two materials are smoothly brought into pressure contact with the outer periphery of the drum by means of the endless belt.

Image recording apparatus and method

An image recording apparatus in which an image recording material bearing an image to be recorded and an image receiving sheet are stacked together and pressurized with a pair of pressurizing rollers so that the image is transferred to the image receiving sheet. A back-up roller, the length of which is about one-third that of the pressurizing rollers, suitably presses at least one of the pressurizing rollers at the middle portion thereof.

A thermal developing and transferring apparatus in which light-sensitive material on which an image is recorded is adhered to an image receiving material and is wound around the outer peripheral surface of a heating drum to effect thermal development and to transfer the developed image to the image receiving material. The light-sensitive sheet and the image receiving material are supplied to the periphery of the heating drum after which is curved with predetermined curvatures, thereby being prevented from shifting away from each other during transfer owing to the difference between winding radius with which the two material are wound around the heating drum.

Thermal developing and transferring apparatus

In an image recording apparatus in which an image optically formed on a photosensitive material is transferred as a visible image onto an image receiving material by pressurization, a back-up roller is employed to press a free nip roller against a fixed nip roller so that the pressure at the nip region of the two nip rollers is made uniform over the entire length thereof. The back-up roller has a width smaller than the width of the free nip roller against which it presses, and the back-up roller presses only against a central portion of the free nip roller.
