A method may be provided to operate a wireless terminal in communication with a network node. The method may include receiving a Physical Downlink Control Channel, PDCCH, order from the network node. The PDCCH order may include an identification for a Random Access CHannel RACH occasion to be used for a RACH message 1 preamble transmission. Moreover, the identification may include a first index that indicates a set of RACH occasions and a second index that indicates the RACH occasion associated with the set. The method may also include transmitting a Message 1 preamble to the network node using the RACH occasion responsive to the PDCCH order.

Methods providing RACH occasion indication for random access procedure initiated by PDCCH order and related wireless terminals and base stations

The embodiments herein relate to timing advance offset for uplink/downlink switching in New Radio (NR). In one embodiment, there proposes a method in a wireless communication device, comprising: determining a timing advance (TA) offset for uplink/downlink switching, wherein the TA offset is at least based on the time offset requirement for uplink/downlink switching in different scenarios used in communication between the wireless communication device and a network node; applying the determined TA offset in the uplink communication from the wireless communication device to the network node. With embodiments herein, uplink/downlink switching time for NR is defined.

Timing advance offset for uplink-downlink switching in new radio

Methods, wireless devices (WD), and network nodes are disclosed. For example, there is disclosed a network node configured to communicate with a wireless device in a cell. The network node is further configured to, and/or includes a radio interface and/or includes processing circuitry configured to communicate a timing advance offset to the wireless device for adjusting the uplink transmission relative to the downlink reception in the cell. The timing offset is based on the timing offset used by another wireless device in another cell to adjust the timing of uplink transmission relative to the downlink reception timing. Remote interference mitigation for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH)

Embodiments include exemplary methods for CLI mitigation. The methods comprise receiving (), from at least one sending network node, a TDD configuration of the at least one sending network node, the TDD configuration identifying at least one slot of the TDD configuration as either a fixed uplink slot or a fixed downlink slot, and at least one slot of the TDD configuration as a flexible slot for which at least one symbol has an undefined transmission direction and the remaining symbols of the slot, if any, have a defined transmission direction. Inter-node coordination for cross-link interference management

Embodiments include methods, performed by a network node, for configuring a physical random-access channel (PRACH) of a cell in a time-division-duplexed (TDD) radio access network (RAN). The methods include determining an increase in a level of remote interference in the cell and, in response to determining the increase, selecting a first PRACH configuration from a first subset of available PRACH configurations. The first subset of available PRACH configurations can be more robust against remote interference than a second subset of the available PRACH configurations, and the first subset can be exclusive of the second subset. Improving physical random-access channel (PRACH) robustness against interference

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for mapping Synchronization Signal Blocks (SSBs) to transmit beam directions taking into account remote interference. In this regard, embodiments of a method performed by a base station in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method performed by a base station in a cellular communications network comprises determining a beam direction to SSB index mapping, taking into consideration remote interference. The method further comprises using the beam direction to SSB index mapping. Because the SSBs have corresponding Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) occasions, determining the beam direction to SSB index mapping taking into account remote interference improves PRACH preamble robustness.

According to embodiments described herein, a long delay-detector improves delay estimation performance for PRACH for many practical deployment scenarios. Signaling mechanism for message and physical uplink shared channel repetitions

A method and device for two-step random accessing. The method includes transmitting a random access preamble and a data block on a time-frequency resource to a network device; and receiving a response message for the random accessing from the network device. The data block is encoded with an orthogonal cover code and/or a cyclic shift, and the data block comprises data information and a reference signal associated with the data information. Therefore, resource efficiency is improved significantly for an associated data message following a random access preamble with endurable minor performance degradation.
