The system is configured to receive a notice from a client device that the client device has updated data and request metadata related to the updated data from the client device that indicates at least a type of data associated with the updated data. The system compares the metadata with first application information and second application information to determine if the first external application or the second external application uses the type of data indicated in the metadata and causes the updated data to be communicated to the first external application but not the second external application when the first external application uses the type of data indicated in the metadata but the second external application does not use the type of data indicated in the metadata.

System and method for automated synchronization of data

A system and method for determining and managing interactions between application sub-systems. The method includes receiving plan identification information from a source application sub-system. One or more rule sets are applied to the plan identification information to determine: source and destination application sub-systems, a set of intermediate application sub-systems, and a sequence of connections determining a connection path from the source application sub-system to the destination application sub-system via the set of intermediate application sub-systems. A sequence of instructions is generated based on one or more of the source application sub-system, the destination application sub-system, the set of intermediate application sub-systems, and the sequence of connections. A first instruction is sent to the source application sub-system, which instructs the source application sub-system to: open a first connection between the source application sub-system and a first intermediate application sub-system, transfer first data via the first connection, and close the first connection.

Provided are methods for reducing the size of a communication between applications in a network. Methods may include receiving, at a computer processor running on a central server, a plurality of values and a plurality of keys from application A, each value paired with a respective key, and storing the values and keys on the central server. A first communication may be transmitted from application A to application B. A second communication may be transmitted from application B to application C, where applications A, B and C are running on the network. Each communication may contain one or more keys and are smaller than if they had contained corresponding values for the keys registered to application A. The computer processor may provide to applications B and C the values to the keys in the first and second communication, respectively, for example, when rendering data to a user interface.

A token customization module may be used to build customized controls into a token for use in a blockchain system. The token customization module may personalize or otherwise customize rules based on requirements of a user's particular use of the distributed ledger system. The customized rules may be used to trigger alerting behavior, prevent and/or automate particular transactions, provide geofencing and/or regional restrictions for transactions of a specified type, among others. Once built, the rules may be incorporated into the tokens and immutably memorialized in the distributed ledger. The customized tokens may be associated with or incorporate a smart contract to layer additional functionality.

When a request for information is received, the processor then determines if the first extracted data includes all the requested information and if it does not, the processor extracts second extracted data from the image file and stores the second extracted data along with the first extracted data and the image file in the memory.
