Embodiments relate to monitoring an information technology (IT) environment having a plurality of domains through key performance indicator (KPI) data. In response to detection of a technical health problem, a first KPI related to the problem is identified. A root cause analysis is performed on the identified KPI generating a knowledge graph. A second KPI related to the first KPI is identified through the discovery of a correlation between the two identified KPIs. A diagnosis is generated for the technical health problem within the IT environment based on the discovered hidden correlation between the first KPI and second KPI. The generated diagnosis includes the root cause of the technical health issue.

Root cause identification and analysis

Techniques regarding providing artificial intelligence problem descriptions are provided. For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise a system, which can comprise a memory that can store computer executable components. The system can also comprise a processor, operably coupled to the memory, and that can execute the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can include, at least: a query component that generates key performance indicators from a query, determines a subset of key performance indicators that individually have a performance below a threshold, and maps the subset of key performance indicators to operational metrics; a learning component that generates, using artificial intelligence, problem descriptions from one or more of the subset of key performance indicators or the operational metrics and transmits the problem descriptions to a database.

Embodiments are provided for intelligent recommendations for program code. In some embodiments, a system can include a processor that executes computer-executable components stored in memory. The computer-executable components can include an evaluation component that determines that first program code pertains to a defined category representing a defined cost to execute the first program code by a cloud computing service. The computer-executable components also can include a recommendation component that generates a recommendation for second program code that satisfies a similarity criterion with respect to the first program code. The second program code pertains to a category representing a cost to execute the second program code by the cloud computing service, where the cost is less than the defined cost.

Data is collected from the data center and used as input to identify a data center policy. A set of capabilities of elements of the data center are detected and cataloged based upon the collected data. At least one policy is dynamically selected from at least one set of master policies in a policy directory with the selected policy to support the cataloged capabilities of the data center, and to dynamically control selective application and to adapt parameters for quality of service. The selected policy is applied to manage the data center.

A system, method and apparatus for performing information transformations on an information stream composed of configuration items (CIs) for improving data quality and extending the capabilities of a configuration management database (CMDB). In one embodiment the data transformations ensure that a CMDB can be used to manage environments that use Network Address Translation by the modification of the signatures of analyzed CIs so that the resulting set of CIs is unique. The modification is applied to augment the signature with a domain specific prefix so that, when loaded into the enterprise wide CMDB, a CI is uniquely identified.

A plurality of support processing requirements associated with a software product is accepted. The plurality of requirements is expanded into multiple sets of installation requirements. A determination is made as to whether any pair of requirements in the minimized set of installation requirements includes a pair of conflicting requirements. A determination of whether the software product allows each requirement in the pair of conflicting requirements to be located on separate nodes is also made. At least one multi-node installation topology is determined for the software product. The multi-node installation topology includes a plurality of installation requirement sets for each node in the multi-node installation topology.

When at least one of a number of result sets that may be stored and a number of bucket tables that may hold result sets is modified, it is determined whether any of the one or more result sets are to be removed.
