Display apparatus includes LEDs, bottom chassis to accommodate the LEDs; and reflective member disposed on the bottom chassis. The reflective member includes a reflective bottom portion, and a reflective inclined portion obliquely formed to face a rear surface of the display panel which includes first regions that respectively correspond to LEDs located adjacent to the reflective inclined portion, and second regions each provided between two neighboring first regions and has a reflective characteristic different from a reflective characteristic of a neighboring first region. Second regions and neighboring first regions are on the reflective inclined portion having a uniform incline angle with respect to a side edge of the reflective bottom portion, the first regions include a group of light adjusting members, and the group of light adjusting members of each of the first regions is disposed to correspond to one of the LEDs disposed adjacent to the reflective inclined portion.

Display module and display apparatus having the same

A display apparatus includes LEDs disposed behind a display panel; a bottom chassis to accommodate the LEDs; and a reflective member disposed on the bottom chassis. The reflective member includes a reflective inclined portion obliquely formed to face a rear surface of the display panel and including first regions that respectively correspond to LEDs located adjacent to the reflective inclined portion, and second regions each of which is provided between two neighboring first regions. The first regions include light adjusting members, and each of the second regions has a reflective characteristic different from a reflective characteristic of a neighboring first region. Each of the first regions includes a group of light adjusting members which is disposed to correspond to one of the LEDs disposed adjacent to the reflective inclined portion. The two neighboring first regions have more light adjusting members, respectively, than one of the second regions disposed therebetween.

Disclosed is a display apparatus including a display panel; and a light source assembly including: a plurality of first light sources disposed in a first region to supply first light toward the display panel; a light guide plate including: incident surface configured to receive second light; and an exit surface facing the display panel and configured to transmit the second light received from the incident surface of the light guide plate to the display panel; and a plurality of second light sources disposed on a periphery of the first region to supply the second light to the incident surface of the light guide plate.

A display apparatus includes a display panel that displays an image, a light source that supplies light to the display panel, a middle mold positioned between the display panel and the light source, and a quantum dot sheet positioned between the display panel and the middle mold that converts a wavelength of light emitted from the light source, and the middle mold includes a color compensator having blue color that provides uniform white light to outside of the display panel.

A display apparatus includes a display panel, LEDs disposed behind the display panel and spaced from the display panel to emit light toward the display panel, a bottom chassis configured to accommodate the LEDs, and a reflective member disposed inside the bottom chassis and configured to reflect a light portion incident thereon toward the display panel. The reflective member includes a reflective bottom portion corresponding to a front surface of the bottom chassis, and reflective inclined portions obliquely formed to face a rear surface of the display panel and having a plurality of holes thereon. The display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a display panel that displays an image, a light source that provides light from a rear side of the display panel, a light guide plate that is positioned on the rear side of the display panel and guides light emitted from the light source, and a quantum dot unit that is provided to be spaced apart from the light source and converts a wavelength of the light emitted from the light source.

A backlight unit includes a light source and a lens unit optically coupled to the light source. A surface of the lens unit facing the light source includes areas coated with a reflective material for reflecting light from the light source away from the lens, and a transmissive area for transmitting light from the light source towards ran output surface of the lens. A display device includes a display panel, a light diffuser, the backlight unit and a reflective element, the backlight unit arranged between the light diffuser and the reflective element, and the display panel positioned opposite the backlight unit with respect to the light diffuser.

A LED module includes a printed circuit board, LEDs which are vertically mounted on the printed circuit board and which emit light onto a side surface, and a contact member which is provided to come into contact with a light guide plate. The printed circuit board may be movably coupled to a bottom chassis. When the light guide plate undergoes thermal expansion, the LED module may move by pressing of the light guide plate acting on the contact member. Accordingly, a gap between the light guide plate and the LEDs may be uniformly maintained even when the light guide plate undergoes thermal expansion or is returned to an original state.

Liquid crystal display

Disclosed is a display device which includes a liquid crystal display configured to display an image, a plurality of backlights which are disposed in a rear area of the liquid crystal display and comprise a plurality of point light sources, a bottom chassis on which the backlights are disposed, and a plurality of reflective devices which are mounted on the bottom chassis and reflect light, which is emitted from a plurality of light sources disposed at corners of the bottom chassis and diffused in a sideward direction, toward the corners of the bottom chassis so as to secure a sufficient amount of light at the corners of the bottom chassis.

A display module includes a display panel; a backlight unit which is disposed behind the display panel and configured to emit light toward the display panel; a bottom chassis configured to accommodate the backlight unit; and a reflective sheet which is disposed inside the bottom chassis and configured to reflect a light portion incident thereon toward the display panel. The reflective sheet includes a sheet bottom portion corresponding to a front surface of the bottom chassis, a sheet inclined portion which is obliquely formed to face a rear surface of the display panel, and a light adjustment portion which is provided on the sheet inclined portion and configured to adjust the light portion reflected by the sheet inclined portion.
