A control valve () comprises a valve housing () with a valve inlet and valve outlet (--) and a valve cover (), also comprising a housing-mounted valve seat (), which is arranged in the flow channel between the valve inlet and valve outlet (--), further comprising a valve member (), which is designed to complement the valve seat (), and additionally comprising a drive rod (), which is guided in a sealing manner through the housing cover () and via which the valve member () is connected to a drive () outside the housing, wherein the valve cover () comprises a sealing arrangement (), by means of which the drive rod () is sealed in relation to the valve cover (). The valve seat () and/or the valve member () are/is formed from an aerogel material or are/is coated with an aerogel coating.

Control valve

In a valve housing for a globe valve for controlling a process fluid flow of a process plant (e.g. a chemical plant, petrochemical plant, a power plant, or a food processing plant), a passage opening is provided that can be closed by a valve member movable translationally in a vertical direction. The valve housing may define, in the vertical direction above the passage opening, a working space for accommodating the valve member. The valve housing may define a kettle space in the vertical direction below the passage opening. The valve housing may include at least one guide blade projecting radially into the kettle space for disturbing a process fluid vortex with vertical vortex axis of rotation filling the kettle space.

In a throttle body for reducing the fluid pressure, particularly at a control valve, preferably for arranging in a process fluid line, of a process plant, such as a chemical plant, particularly a petrochemical plant, a power plant, a brewery or the like, with a plurality of channels extending from an upstream channel inlet to a downstream channel outlet, it is foreseen that an at least section-wise curved course of at least one of the plurality of channels between the channel inlet and the channel outlet deviates from a two-dimensional extension.
