An electroluminescent display device includes a substrate on which a display area and a non-display area are defined; first, second and third sub-pixel rows in the display area each including a plurality of sub-pixels arranged along a first direction and disposed along a second direction; a light-emitting diode disposed at each of the plurality of sub-pixels and including a first electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode; a dummy sub-pixel in the non-display area and corresponding to the second sub-pixel row; and a partition wall across the third sub-pixel row along the first direction and disposed on the first electrodes of the third sub-pixel row, wherein a width of the second sub-pixel row along the second direction is larger than a width of the first sub-pixel row and smaller than a width of the third sub-pixel row.

An organic light emitting display device and a method of fabricating thereof are discussed. The organic light emitting display device according to an example of the invention comprises a first substrate; a plurality of first bank layers arranged along a first direction and a second direction on the first substrate to define a plurality of pixels; a plurality of second bank layers disposed along the first direction on the first bank layers to divide columns of pixels having different colors; a plurality of third bank layers disposed along the second direction on the first bank layers; and an organic light emitting diode in each pixel, the organic light emitting diode including an organic light emitting layer, wherein the third bank layer is made of a same material as the second bank layer and the width of the third bank layer is smaller than that of the second bank layer.

Organic light emitting display device and method of fabricating thereof

An organic light emitting display device and method of fabricating thereof is disclosed. The organic light emitting display device comprises a first substrate; a plurality of first bank layers arranged along a first direction and a second direction on the first substrate to define a plurality of pixels, where the first direction and the second direction are orthogonal; a plurality of second bank layers disposed along the first direction on the first bank layers to divide pixels columns of different colors; and an organic light emitting diode in each pixel, the organic light emitting diode including an organic light emitting layer having different thicknesses on different colored pixels, wherein the side surfaces of the second bank layer adjacent to the pixel columns of different colors are inclined, the inclined angle thereof is dependent upon a thickness of the organic light emitting layer in the pixel.

An electroluminescent display device includes first and second pixels arranged along a first direction on a substrate; a first groove positioned at a side of the first and second pixels and including a first portion extending along the first direction and a second portion corresponding to a space between the first and second pixels; and a light emitting diode in each of the first and second pixels.

An organic light-emitting diode display device according to an embodiment includes a substrate on which red, green and blue sub-pixel regions are defined, first electrodes in the red, green and blue sub-pixel regions, respectively, and first, second and third light-emitting layers on the first electrodes in the red, green and blue sub-pixel regions, respectively.
