A housing includes a body and a cartridge holder. The body can accommodate a drive mechanism including a piston rod to operably engage with a piston of a cartridge filled with a liquid injectable medicament. The cartridge holder has a cartridge receiving space. The cartridge holder has an insert section at a proximal end. The body has a receptacle to receive the insert section. The cartridge holder includes a first latch element located on the insert section. The body includes a second latch element located in the receptacle and protruding inwardly from a side wall section of the receptacle. A radial extension of the first latch element is less than a thickness of the side wall of the insert section or of the receptacle. A radial protrusion of the second latch element is less than a thickness of the side wall sections of the insert section or of the receptacle.

Housing for an injection device

The present disclosure pertains to an assembly for a drug delivery device having a housing part, a piston rod displaceable relative to the housing part, a first sleeve member and a second sleeve member. First and second sleeve members are coupled to the housing part. In an initial state of the assembly the first sleeve member is movable from an initial position to a second position relative to the second sleeve member which allows the piston rod to axially travel from an initial position to a predetermined second position such that the assembly is in a primed state. Moreover, in the primed state of the assembly, with the first sleeve member being in the second position relative to the second sleeve member, first and second sleeve members are permanently rotationally and axially locked to each other by a first engagement feature such that first and second sleeve members together form a sleeve.

The present disclosure is generally directed to a resettable drug delivery device for selecting and dispensing a number of user variable doses of a medicament. The drug delivery device comprises a housing, a cartridge holder releasably attached to the distal end of the housing, a piston rod engaging a housing insert and a drive member, a dose setting member guided within the housing to allow rotation of the dose setting member during dose setting and dose dispensing, a clutch for rotationally coupling the drive member and the dose setting member, and a locking element which is rotationally constrained to the housing and is axially movable relative to the housing between a proximal dose setting position and a distal resetting position.

A medicated module () for an injection system to co-deliver at least two medicaments is disclosed where a primary delivery device containing a primary medicament accepts a medicated module () containing a single dose of a secondary medicament and where both medicaments are delivered through a hollow needle (). The medicated module () does not require the user to manually engage a reservoir () containing the secondary medicament. Instead, a biasing member () automatically activates the reservoir () when the needle guard () is retracted. A medicated module for an injection system to co-deliver at least two medicaments is disclosed where a primary delivery device containing a primary medicament accepts a medicated module containing a single dose of a secondary medicament and where both medicaments are delivered through a hollow needle. The medicated module is user selectable so that it will deliver a priming dose of a primary medicament or both the primary and secondary medicaments. The module also contains a needle guard that locks after dose delivery. The needle guard prevents accidental needle sticks before and after an injection. A locking collar rotates during use as an inner protrusion follows three paths of a track located on the outer surface of a body housing. When the inner facing protrusion is in the third path, it encounters a hard stop and a rotational bias that locks the guard from further refraction and thus covers the sharp distal end of the needle.
