A catalyst regenerator according to an embodiment of the present invention, as a catalyst regenerator that regenerates a coked catalyst separated from a product produced in an endothermic catalytic reaction of a fluidized bed reactor, includes: a reaction chamber that includes a regeneration space, receives the coked catalyst from a standpipe connected to the regeneration space, and discharges a regenerated catalyst to an outlet; a fuel supplier that is connected to the reaction chamber to inject a fuel for combustion into the regeneration space; and a fuel supplier that is connected to the reaction chamber to inject an air for combustion into the regeneration space, wherein the fuel injected from the fuel supplier is a reformed fuel containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide.

A naphtha and methanol mixed catalytic cracking reaction process involves a simultaneous cracking reaction of naphtha and methanol using a circulating fluidized-bed reactor comprising a reactor, a stripper, and a regenerator. The naphtha is supplied from the bottom part of the reactor at a position between 0%&#x2dc;5% of the total length of the reactor, and the methanol is supplied from the bottom part of the reactor at a position between 10%&#x2dc;80% of the total length of the reactor. The catalytic cracking reaction process uses the circulating fluidized-bed reactor and can crack naphtha and methanol simultaneously by having different introduction positions for the naphtha and methanol in the reactor, which is advantageous for heat neutralization, so that energy consumption can be minimized and also the yield of light olefins can be improved by suppressing the production of light saturated hydrocarbons such as methane, ethane and propane.

The present invention relates to a carbon dioxide capture apparatus having a temperature swing adsorption mode for selective separation of carbon dioxide from flue gases. The carbon dioxide capture apparatus comprises: a carbon dioxide sorption column including a carbon dioxide adsorption unit in which adsorption of carbon dioxide from flue gases occurs; a carbon dioxide desorption column connected to the carbon dioxide sorption column and including a carbon dioxide desorption unit in which desorption of the adsorbed carbon dioxide occurs; a carbon dioxide absorbent repeatedly adsorbing and desorbing carbon dioxide while circulating through the carbon dioxide sorption column and the carbon dioxide desorption column; and a heat exchange unit in which heat exchange occurs between the absorbent after carbon dioxide adsorption and the absorbent after carbon dioxide desorption.

Provided are a method of manufacturing a high silica zeolite using a recovered silica filtrate, and a high silica zeolite manufactured according to the method. To this end, the present invention provides the method of manufacturing the high silica zeolite using the recovered silica filtrate, including manufacturing a solated agglomerated silica from the silica filtrate including a metal salt (step 1); filtering and washing the solated agglomerated silica of step 1 to manufacture a silica cake from which the metal salt is removed (step 2); peptizing the silica cake to manufacture a silica sol (step 3); and manufacturing the high silica zeolite using the silica sol manufactured in step 3 as a silica source (step 4). Further, the present invention provides a high silica zeolite manufactured from a recovered silica filtrate through the manufacturing method and having a Si/Al mole ratio of 5 or more. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a process of manufacturing a high silica zeolite, in which economic feasibility, a manufacturing cost, and a manufacturing time of process steps are reduced, by reusing a recovered silica filtrate to manufacture the zeolite.

Disclosed are a molecular sieve catalyst and a preparation method thereof to produce light olefins from cracking naphtha catalytically in severe environments of high temperature and high moisture. In detail, the catalyst is prepared by spray-drying and calcining the mixed slurry, in which 0.01&#x2dc;5.0 wt % of MnOand 1&#x2dc;15 wt % of POare simultaneously imbedded in catalyst which consists of zeolite, clay and inorganic complex. According to the present invention, the method that manganese and phosphate are imbedded simultaneously in zeolite and inorganic complex is used to increases thermal-stability of obtained spherical catalyst, and increase olefin yield of cracking hydrocarbon such as naphtha by protecting acid-site of zeolite. To synthesize the required catalyst, the important procedures are mixing ratio and mixing sequence of Mn, P, zeolite, and inorganic complex.

A method of preparing ZSM-5, including: providing a nanocrystalline ZSM-5 seed having a size of 70-150 nm; adding the nanocrystalline ZSM-5 seed to a stock solution including water glass as a silica source, an alumina source, a neutralizer and water to form a reaction mixture; and maintaining the reaction mixture at 150-200&#xb0; C. to crystallize the reaction mixture. Disclosed is a process for producing light olefins from hydrocarbon feedstock. The process is characterized in that a porous molecular sieve catalyst consisting of a product obtained by evaporating water from a raw material mixture comprising a molecular sieve with a framework of Si&#x2014;OH&#x2014;Al&#x2014; groups, a water-insoluble metal salt, and a phosphate compound, is used to produce light olefins, particularly ethylene and propylene, from hydrocarbon, while maintaining excellent selectivity to light olefins. According to the process, by the use of a specific catalyst with hydrothermal stability, light olefins can be selectively produced in high yield with high selectivity from hydrocarbon feedstock, particularly full-range naphtha. In particular, the process can maintain higher cracking activity than the reaction temperature required in the prior thermal cracking process for the production of light olefins, and thus, can produce light olefins with high selectivity and conversion from hydrocarbon feedstock.

Disclosed are a hydrothermally stable porous molecular sieve catalyst and a preparation method thereof. The catalyst consists of a product obtained by the evaporation of water from a raw material mixture comprising a molecular sieve having a framework of Si&#x2014;OH&#x2014;Al&#x2014;, a water-insoluble metal salt and a phosphate compound. The catalyst maintains its physical and chemical stabilities even in an atmosphere of high temperature and humidity. Accordingly, the catalyst shows excellent catalytic activity even when it is used in a severe process environment of high temperature and humidity in heterogeneous catalytic reactions, such as various oxidation/reduction reactions, including catalytic cracking reactions, isomerization reactions, alkylation reactions and esterification reactions.
