The present disclosure relates to a motor operated compressor, including a housing, a compressor provided in the housing, a motor connected to the compressor to drive the compressor, an inverter coupled to one side of the housing, and connected to the motor unit in an electrically conductive manner. The motor operated compressor includes a hermetic terminal assembly, one side of which extends into the inverter unit, and an opposite side of which extends into the housing. A plurality of busbars have one end of each busbar connected to the opposite side of the hermetic terminal assembly, and the other end of each busbar connected to the motor unit. A first insulating cover portion encloses and seals the hermetic terminal assembly and the plurality of busbars inside the housing, such that a conductive body connecting the motor unit and the inverter unit in the main housing is sealed from refrigerant.

A horizontal type scroll compressor includes a main scroll through which a crankshaft is rotatably inserted, the main scroll having a fixed wrap formed on a front surface thereof, and an orbiting scroll coupled to the crankshaft inserted through the main scroll and having an orbiting wrap. A discharge port is formed toward one side surface in an axial direction of the main scroll facing a driving motor. A guide member is coupled to the one side surface of the main scroll, and has a discharge guide portion accommodating the discharge port.

A horizontal type scroll compressor includes a motor housing with a driving motor therein, a main scroll coupled to one side of the motor housing and having a fixed wrap for forming compression chambers, an orbiting scroll having an orbiting wrap and coupled to a crankshaft inserted through the main scroll, the orbiting scroll forming a first compression chamber and a second compression chamber on an outer surface and an inner surface of the orbiting wrap while performing an orbiting motion, and a front housing hermetically coupled to the main scroll. With the configuration, the number of components and assembly parts may be reduced, resulting in reduction of fabricating costs. Also, an inclination of the orbiting scroll can be prevented as the crankshaft is inserted through the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap.

A scroll compressor including a fixed scroll having a fixed wrap; and an orbiting scroll having an orbiting wrap engaged with the fixed wrap to form compression chambers, and performing an orbital motion with respect to the fixed scroll, wherein at least one of the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap has a first constant section, a variable section, and a second constant section consecutively formed in a direction from a wrap final end to a wrap initial end.

Scroll compressor

Disclosed is a scroll compressor. As two side surfaces of a rotation preventing member are formed to be flat with keys, the rotation preventing member, a main frame, and an orbiting scroll may be easily processed and partial frictions and noise due to the keys may be prevented. Furthermore, since the orbiting scroll is entirely and stably supported by a ring portion of the rotation preventing member, the occurrence of a tilting moment of the orbiting scroll may be reduced. This may enhance the stability and the performance of the scroll compressor.

A scroll compressor includes an orbiting scroll having a compressor chamber in an upper portion thereof and a bypass passage formed through upper and lower ends of a body thereof, a fixed scroll that allows the orbiting scroll to orbit therein to compress a coolant, an Oldham ring on which the orbiting scroll is seated, the Oldham ring having an upper chamber formed on an upper surface thereof with predetermined width and depth and a lower chamber formed on a lower surface thereof with predetermined width and depth, and a main frame on which the Oldham ring is seated.

A scroll compressor, which allows refrigerant in a compressor chamber to be partially discharged so that frictions generated in frictional surfaces between an orbiting scroll and an Oldham ring and between the Oldham ring and a main frame may be decreased. Also, an upper chamber may be formed on an upper surface thereof and a lower chamber may be formed on a lower surface thereof. An oil supply structure may be provided in a main frame such that lubrication is smoothly performed. Additionally, at least one key may be provided protruding from the lower surface of the Oldham ring. Further, the main frame may include at least one key groove configured to receive the at least one key of the Oldham ring. Additionally, the oil supply groove may be provided separately from and in communication with the at least one key groove.
