Disclosed is a display device comprising a display panel, and a support layer disposed under the display panel. The display panel includes a display area that displays an image in a bending area and in a non-bending area, and a non-display area disposed adjacent to the display area in the bending area and the non-bending area. The display device is bend in the bending area during a sliding motion and not bent in the non-bending area adjacent to the bending area during the sliding motion. The non-display area that is disposed the bending area includes pattern areas and non-pattern areas adjacent to the pattern areas. Each of the pattern areas includes a concave portion and a remaining portion.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel including a folding area and a non-folding area, and a plate which faces the display panel. The plate includes first surface and a second surface which is opposite to the first surface, and a pattern hole which is defined in the plate and corresponding to the folding area of the display panel. The pattern hole is defined by a side surface of the plate, and a first inclined surface of the plate which connects the first surface and the side surface to each other. With respect to the first surface, the first inclined surface forms a first angle and the side surface forms a second angle, and the first angle of the first inclined surface with respect to the first surface is different from the second angle of the side surface with respect to the first surface.

A display device includes a first non-foldable area, a second non-foldable area, and a foldable area. The display device includes a display module including a display panel, a support substrate supporting the display module, including an upper surface facing the display module and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface, and provided with a groove defined in the lower surface to overlap the foldable area, a first support plate disposed under the support substrate, and a second support plate disposed under the support substrate and spaced apart from the first support plate in the foldable area.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes a display panel including a first non-folding area, a second non-folding area, and a folding area, a first upper plate disposed under the display panel and overlapping the first non-folding area, a second upper plate disposed under the display panel, overlapping the second non-folding area, arranged to be spaced apart from the first upper plate, a separation space being disposed therebetween and overlapping at least a portion of the folding area in an unfolded state, and a screen layer disposed under the first upper plate and the second upper plate. The screen layer includes first lines, second lines arranged in a weave pattern with the first lines, and a lower coating layer covering a lower portion of the first lines and the second lines and overlaps the separation space.

A display device manufacturing method is provided including a display module in which an active area and a non-active area surrounding the active area are defined. A first hole is perforated having a first diameter on the active area. A second hole is formed having a second diameter by irradiating a laser area at least partially surrounding the first hole with a laser. The second diameter is larger than the first diameter.

A window includes a window that includes a first hole, a second hole, and a third hole between the first and second holes, a front protection film disposed on a front surface of the window that covers the first, second, and third holes, a first protection film disposed on a rear surface of the window that covers the first hole, a second protection film disposed on the rear surface of the window that covers the second hole, a cover disposed on the rear surface of the window and inserted into the third hole, the cover including a plurality of holes, and a cap disposed on the rear surface of the window and on the first and second protection films and the cover.

A window member includes a cover glass including a transmission area configured to pass a light therethrough and a bezel area surrounding the transmission area; a bottom layer arranged in the bezel area and having a color; an inorganic layer between the cover glass and the bottom layer; a pattern layer in the bezel area and contacting the cover glass; and a resin layer covering the pattern layer, at least a portion of the resin layer contacting the cover glass.
