The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing flavone compound as an active ingredient for treating obesity, and more specifically to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity and a dietary composition for preventing or reducing obesity containing 5,7-dimethoxyflavone or 5,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone. The compound according to the present invention inhibits adipogenesis, and reduces expression of the key transcription factors (SREBP1c and C/EBP) related to lipogenesis and of enzyme proteins (FAS and ACC) related to adipogenesis, and thus is effective in preventing or treating obesity.

Use of flavone compound for prevention or treatment of obesity

The present invention relates to a conjugate of chitosan and polyamine polymer that is useful for transferring a desired gene medicine into cells, and a method for preparing the same. In particular, the present invention relates to a double conjugate that is prepared by 1 in king poly-L-arginine to low molecular weight chitosan or triple conjugate that is prepared by additionally linking polyethylene glycol (PEG) to the double conjugate, and a method for preparing the same. The chitosan based cationic polymer conjugate of the present invention forms a complex with negatively charged gene medicine such as plasmid DNA and small interfering RNA to efficiently transfer the desired gene medicine into cells with low cytotoxicity. Accordingly, the conjugate can be used as an effective delivery system for in vivo administration of gene medicine.

Chitosan based polymer conjugate and a method for producing the same

The present invention relates to a pot with a multi-layered bottom and a manufacturing process thereof. More specifically, the pot with a multi-layered bottom made of a stack of different materials is characterized by: an upper aluminum plate being fixed to the base bottom in contact with each other; a perforated plate being fixed to the lower side of the upper aluminum plate and having a plurality of hollow portions; a lower aluminum plate being fixed to the lower side of the perforated plate; a stainless steel plate being fixed to the lower side of the lower aluminum plate and being magnetic; and the corresponding portions of the upper and lower aluminum plates are inserted into the hollow portions of the perforated plate by pressure and thus are interconnected in the hollow portions. In accordance with the present invention, by the multi-layered bottom, heat conductivity and heat efficiency are increased to cook foods in a short time, foods are not scorched and stuck, and the connection force between plates deposited on the lower sides of the base bottom becomes stronger, thereby improving the reliability of the product.

Pot with multi-layered bottom and manufacturing process thereof

A method of making a multi-ply bottom of clad metal cookware is disclosed. In the method, both an aluminum plate and a stainless steel cladding plate, externally laid on a base bottom of the clad metal cookware held on a friction press, is pressed down using an instantaneous pressure of the friction press, thus being integrated with the base bottom of the cookware in a way such that the stainless steel cladding plate is fully integrated with the base bottom of the cookware within a predetermined area including a corner of the base bottom. The instantaneous pressure of the friction press ranges from 800 tons to 1,500 tons. In the multi-ply bottom of this invention, the aluminum plate has a dense structure, and increases heat conductivity, heat conservativity, and thermal efficiency of the cookware while allowing the multi-ply bottom to be free from partially heating food in the cookware. The method also reduces the production cost of the cookware.
