A metal film-plating system including an unwinding process part configured to provide a film, a degreasing process part configured to remove impurities from the film, an etching process part configured to perform an etching process on the film, a neutralizing process part configured to perform a neutralizing process on the film, a coupling process part configured to couple the neutralized film with a coupling agent, a catalyst-adding process part configured to adsorb a catalyst onto the coupled film, an underplating process part configured to perform an underplating process on the film, and a plating process part configured to perform a plating process on the film. Further, at least one of the unwinding process part, the degreasing process part, the etching process part, the neutralizing process part, the coupling process part, the catalyst-adding process part, the underplating process part, and the plating process part includes a wetting apparatus configured to perform a wetting operation.

Electroless metal film-plating system

A radio frequency plasma display panel that is capable of reducing a height of a barrier rib and a frequency of a radio frequency signal as well as improving a light-emission efficiency. In the radio frequency plasma display panel, a plurality of discharge cells are arranged in a matrix pattern. Each of the discharge cells has upper and lower substrates. First and second address electrodes are provided on at least one of the upper and lower substrates to generate an address discharge. Barrier ribs are provided between the upper and lower substrates to define a discharge space. First and second radio frequency electrodes are provided the respective barrier ribs opposed to each other to generate a radio frequency sustaining discharge. Accordingly, the radio frequency sustaining discharge is generated between the first and second radio frequency electrodes within the respective barrier ribs for a long time, so that a height of the barrier ribs and a frequency of a radio frequency signal can be lowered.

Radio frequency plasma display panel

A PDP drive method capable of restraining the generation of contour noise and making to be high a brightness level. In the PDP drive method, discharging cells on the plasma display panel start simultaneously on a radio frequency discharge by row lines. Next, the radio frequency discharge, which is caused in each discharging cell on the row line, is erased by applying an erasing pulse corresponding to a brightness level of video to the discharging cells on a row line.

Plasma display panel drive method and apparatus

A method of forming a protection layer of a plasma display panel, which has upper electrodes, lower electrodes and a barrier rib, includes the steps of: forming a dielectric layer on the upper electrodes; and forming a MgO protection layer on the dielectric layer by the method of direct coating the MgO solution on the surface of the dielectric layer. Some advantages are derived by properly mixing MgO particles, salt containing Mg, and organic binder and coating an MgO protection layer (thin film) on the surface of the PDP substrate irrespective of coating methods by simple facility and processing. These advantages include PDP MgO protection layer formation to reduce PDP production cost, time and firing voltages, and adjustment of the protection layer's thickness.

Protection layer of plasma display panel and method of forming the same

Electron guns for color picture tube capable of strengthening the refracting action of electrostatic prisms and of overcoming possible distortion of three electron beams at about the periphery of a screen due to strong nonuniform magnetic field are disclosed. The electron guns has variable asymmetric electrostatic lenses, which lenses include first and second focusing electrodes, a first electrostatic deflection electrode mounted to the first focusing electrode, a second electrostatic deflection electrode mounted to the second focusing electrode, and an accelerating electrode placed in front of the second focusing electrode. In another embodiment, the variable asymmetric electrostatic lenses of the electron guns includes electrostatic deflection means placed between the first and second focusing electrodes.

This invention relates to an inline electron gun for a color cathode ray tube, more particularly to an inline electron gun which can provide high resolution by controlling intensity of electrostatic lenses that controls electron beams according to intensity of current, dynamically. The electron gun for a cathode ray tube includes a three electrode part having a part formed of a plurality of inline electron beam emitting means for emitting electron beams and the other part formed of control electrodes and acceleration electrodes for controlling quantity of the emission and forming a crossover of the electron beams, a plurality of focusing electrodes and positive electrodes forming a main electrostatic focusing lenses for focusing the electron beam onto a screen, the electron beam emitting means and the plurality of electrodes are aligned in line with the tube axis spaced in a certain interval, successively, and a supplementary electrode having a fixed thickness and synchronizing to application signal of the electron beam emitting means, the supplementary electrode is positioned between the acceleration electrode and the focusing electrode adjacent to the acceleration electrode and is for forming an enlargement electrostatic lens for controlling the divergence angle of the electron beam according to the intensity of current.
