Disclosed is a device which includes a data manager, a learner, and a predictor. The data manager generates output data based on time-series data, receives device prediction results corresponding to the output data from the prediction devices, and calculates device errors based on the difference between device prediction results and time-series data. The learner may adjust a parameter group of a prediction model for generating device weights, based on device prediction results and device errors. The predictor generates the ensemble result of first and second device prediction results based on device weights.

Device for ensembling data received from prediction devices and operating method thereof

Provided is a device for ensembling data received from prediction devices and a method of operating the same. The device includes a data manager, a learner, and a predictor. The data manager receives first and second device prediction results from first and second prediction devices, respectively. The learner may adjust a weight group of a prediction model for generating first and second item weights, first and second device weights, based on the first and second device prediction results. The first and second item weights depend on first and second item values, respectively, of the first and second device prediction results. The first device weight corresponds to the first prediction device, and the second device weight corresponds to the second prediction device. The predictor generates an ensemble result of the first and second device prediction results, based on the first and second item weights and the first and second device weights.

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for detecting a translocation. The apparatus acquires BAM for a first pair of chromosomes and a second pair of chromosomes. Also, the apparatus detects a translocation generated in at least one chromosome by selecting at least one translocation case corresponding to the translocation information produced on the basis of BAM from among multiple translocation cases in which a translocation may be generated in at least one of the first and the second chromosomes.

Provided are a fall detecting apparatus and method and an emergency aid system and method using the same. The fall detecting apparatus includes a storing unit configured to store fall data vectors; an angular velocity measuring unit configured to measure an angular velocity value; an acceleration measuring unit configured to measure an acceleration value; an acceleration extracting unit configured to extract a kinetic acceleration value and a gravitational acceleration value by filtering the acceleration value measured by the acceleration measuring unit; and a fall determining unit configured to convert the angular velocity value, which is measured by the angular velocity measuring unit, and the kinetic acceleration value and the gravitational acceleration value, which are extracted by the acceleration extracting unit, into a fall data vector, and determine a use's fall by comparing the converted fall data vector with the fall data vector stored in the storing unit.
