A locker shelf assembly which has first and second side walls and a shelf. Each of the side walls includes substantially horizontally extending grooves. The shelf has a first end and a second end. The first end of the shelf is positioned in the groove of the first side wall and the second end of the shelf is positioned in the groove of the second side wall. When the assembly is positioned in a locker, the shelf acts to position the first and second side walls against the walls of the locker.

Locker shelf assembly

A corner trim assembly includes a first panel having a first panel first end. A second panel has a second panel first end. The second panel first end is attached to the first panel first end. A first trim screw is attached to the first panel. A second trim screw is attached to the second panel. The first and second trim screws each have a screw rim. Each screw rim is spaced apart from the first and second panels. A first trim piece and a second trim piece each have a channel. The channels of the first and second trim pieces are engaged with the screw rims of the first and second trim screws to hold the first and second trim pieces against the first and second panels, respectively.

Corner trim assembly

A bier having a base including a base top surface. A first side is attached to the base top surface. The first side has a first side inside surface. A second side is attached to the base top surface. The second side has a second side inside surface. A cross member extends between the first side inside surface and the second side inside surface. The cross member has a front surface. A top is attached to the first side and the second side. The base top surface, the first side inside surface, the second side inside surface and the cross member inside surface form a display area.

A casket latch assembly has a strike plate attached to a casket lid. The strike plate has a strike plate edge and a strike plate surface. A flexible latch arm is attached to a casket lower shell. The latch arm has a latch edge for engaging the strike plate surface of the strike plate to hold the lid in a closed position. A release mechanism for disengaging the latch edge from the strike plate surface to allow the closed lid to open.

Casket latch assembly

A lid assembly for a casket has an end rail including an end rail notch. Opposing side rails are attached to the end rail. The side rails each include a side rail notch. An end section is positioned within the end rail notch. A lid dome includes a pair of dome side edges. The lid dome is flexed to form a flexed lid dome. The dome side edges are positioned within the side rail notches and in contact with the end section. The lid dome and the end section form a lid joint.

Casket lid assembly

A leveling bed assembly for a casket includes a support member having a first end and a second end. The support member pivots allowing the first end of the support member to be raised from a level position to a raised position. A support stop is in contact with the second end of the support member. A spring member is attached to the first end of the support member. The spring member flexes when the first end of the support member is in the raised position. A post supports the flexed spring member in the raised position.

Casket leveling bed

A shelf assembly having at least one bracket including a top member, a bottom member and a side member. The top member is positioned in opposed spaced relationship with the bottom member. The assembly includes a shelf having at least one mounting edge and at least one trim edge. The mounting edge is adapted for positioning in the space defined by the top and bottom members for support by the bracket. The trim edge has an outwardly projecting tongue having a terminal portion with a terminal geometric configuration. The assembly further includes at least one trim member having a groove with a groove geometric configuration corresponding to the terminal geometric configuration to allow the groove to receive the tongue to join together the shelf and the trim member.

Shelf assembly

A foldable bed assembly is disclosed. A foldable bed frame having a series of foldable sections is positioned within a cabinet for storage and is moved through a wall opening to a horizontal operating position. Links connect the bed frame to the cabinet. Elastic bands slow the movement of respective pairs of foldable sections when moved between the stored position and the operating position.

Foldable bed assembly

The disclosure relates to a furniture assembly having first and second components joined at right angles. The interior face of one of the components defines a groove which extends parallel to the line of intersection of the components. The groove serves as a 'pilot hole' for fasteners which secure one or more brackets to each component. In one embodiment, the bracket includes perpendicular legs. An outwardly extending tongue is defined by one of the legs and is received in the groove. Gussets extend between the legs on opposite sides of the bracket.

Furniture assembly

A mitered joint assembly having first and second furniture components joined by a bracket is disclosed. The components define interior surfaces. The interior surfaces have longitudinally extending pilot grooves. The pilot grooves engage one another. A bracket having legs is mounted adjacent the interior surfaces of the furniture components. The legs of the bracket each include at least one opening for receiving fasteners which extend through the openings. The fasteners are received in the grooves which act as pilot holes and as alignment means. The bracket has an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface includes tongue means consisting of projections which are received in the pilot grooves for aligning the components.

Mitered joint assembly

The invention disclosed relates to a method of making laminated products such as furniture, cabinets, counters, and the like. A laminate formed of thermosetting polyester saturated on paper of 8-12 mil thickness is bonded with a thermoplastic, thermoforming acrylic saturated on paper of 12-18 mil thickness. The bonded layers are shaped over at least two surfaces angularly positioned relative to each other. For examples, the bonded layers are shaped around sharp corners or edges of a substrate, such as conventional fiberboard, particle board or wood, under heat and pressure. A hot melt adhesive, preferably coated on the inner surface of the bonded laminate attaches the laminate to the one plane surface of the substrate and bending pressure is applied as the substrate and laminate pass through a series of rollers to bend the laminate in degrees around the corners and into contact with the other surface of the substrate. Pressures are in the 20-200 psi range and at temperature in the range of 350.degree.-450.degree. F. A superior product having a contiguous surface laminate on the substrate provides an element or elements for the manufactured article possessing heat and mar resistance. sp

Laminated article

The invention disclosed relates to raised or lowered panel assemblies, such as raised panel doors, as employed in cabinets and furniture. The frame is constructed of pre-shaped molding having an inner section of reverse taper and an integral thicker outer section. The frame is comprised of four pieces of molding assembled as stiles and rails of the door and joined at mitered corners. The molding is rabbeted along the inner edge and receives a flat center panel formed with a projecting tongue or groove and lip. The molding and center panel are preferably formed having a core composite of wood composition or chip board. The core is wrapped or covered with a surface layer of a plastic, preferably thermosetting, material which simulates a wood veneer.

Panel assembly
