An apparatus for diverting a fluid flow path automatically diverts a fluid flow path in accordance with inclining of a main body, and includes two or more selectable fluid flow paths through which an external air stream is drawn, a fixed fluid flow path to be selectively connected to one of the selectable fluid flow paths, a path selecting unit to connect the fixed fluid flow path to one of the selectable fluid flow paths, and a driving member to provide a driving force for path selecting of the path selecting unit. If mounted in an external apparatus, the driving member causes the path selecting unit to move and connect to the fixed fluid flow path in accordance with inclining of the external apparatus.

Apparatus for diverting fluid flow path

A vacuum cleaner for use in both an upright form and a canister form, which can mount and dismount a cleaner body to and from a suction nozzle assembly is disclosed. A dust-collecting unit for a vacuum cleaner is provided which detachably connected with a cleaner body of the vacuum cleaner. The dust-collecting unit includes a dust receptacle which is disposed under a dust separator disposed in the cleaner body, for collecting dust separated from air by the dust separator and dropping down from the dust separator, a dust receptacle ascending/descending part which is disposed under the dust receptacle and is pivoted in a direction or a reverse direction to ascend or descend the dust receptacle and to press-lock or unlock the dust receptacle to or from the dust separator, and a handle which extends from one side of the dust receptacle ascending/descending part along a lengthwise direction of the dust receptacle and has a gap with respect to a circumferential surface of the dust receptacle.

Dust collecting unit for vacuum cleaner

A turbine brush for a vacuum cleaner according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises a turbine brush body connected to a cleaner body in which a suction force is generated and having a suction path therein, a brush member rotatably mounted to the turbine brush body, a driving unit rotatably mounted in the turbine brush body to drive the brush member, and an inertia member for adding inertia to a driving force of the driving unit. Accordingly, a rotative force is not deteriorated even by small particles such as fine dust and hair, owing to the inertia added to the turbine, thereby improving a cleaning efficiency.

A dust collecting apparatus for a vacuum cleaner including a cyclone body provided with a cyclone chamber and a contaminant collecting chamber formed therein, a cyclone case provided in the cyclone body having the cyclone chamber and the contaminant collecting chamber separated from each other; an air inflow tube penetrating an outer wall of the cyclone body such that a suction passage at an outside of the cyclone body is fluidly communicated with a lower end of the cyclone chamber; and an air outlet tube penetrating sequentially a bottom of the cyclone case and a bottom the cyclone body to guide the air discharged from the cyclone chamber to a discharge passage placed at an outside of the cyclone body, wherein the contaminant collecting chamber is connected to the cyclone chamber through a contaminant discharge port formed at a side surface of upper end of the cyclone chamber.
