A flat panel display having an integrated touch screen panel directly formed on a sealing thin film is disclosed. In the display, sensing lines of the touch screen panel are formed to extend to a substrate of the display panel, on which organic light emitting elements are formed, so that the touch screen panel and the display panel are connected to a flexible printed circuit board, thereby simplifying manufacturing processes and decreasing product cost.

In one aspect, the display device includes a display panel for displaying an image in at least two separate fields during a frame, a panel driver configured to transmit output data for each field corresponding to the at least two fields and drive the display panel according to each field, and a controller configured to analyze an image pattern corresponding to input data, and generate the output data for each field from the input data according to an analysis result of the pattern, or extract each field data from the input data according to a predetermined data alignment method and generate the output data for each field by using the field data.

A light emitting display is configured to reduce or prevent motion blur by shortening a time that a black frame is displayed between image frames. One embodiment includes display region, a data driver, a scan driver, and a controller. The display region displays frames of images according to a data signal and a scan signal. The data driver transmits data for displaying first frames and second (black) frames between the first frames. The scan driver includes first and second scan driving circuits for transmitting scan signals, and a switch unit for selectively coupling the first and second scan driving circuits. The scan driver transmits scan signals sequentially during the first frames and transmits scan signals to at least two of the scan lines concurrently by driving the first and second scan driving circuits in parallel during the second frames. The controller transmits a driving control signal to control the switch.

The present invention relates to a stereoscopic image display device including an active barrier for varying a barrier display pattern so as to display various stereoscopic images. In further detail, the stereoscopic image display device includes a display panel, a barrier, a barrier driver, and a controller. A stereoscopic image is displayed on the display panel. The barrier is placed corresponding to the display panel, and includes a plurality of liquid crystal cells arranged in a matrix format. The barrier driver drives the barrier such that the barrier display pattern may be a display pattern corresponding to the image signal by controlling the respective plurality of liquid crystal cells to become selectively transparent or opaque based on the mode information signal.
