A display device includes a first display area including a first pixel area; a second display area including a second pixel area and a transmissive area; a signal line, a common electrode, and a touch electrode that are disposed in the second display area. The common electrode includes an opening overlapping the transmissive area, and the common electrode is disposed between the signal line and the touch electrode to overlap the signal line.

An inspection system includes a display device including a nonvolatile memory, an inspection device configured to generate a writing voltage for application to the nonvolatile memory, and a protection part configured to apply the writing voltage to the nonvolatile memory when the writing voltage is within an allowable voltage range, and not to apply the writing voltage to the nonvolatile memory when the writing voltage is not within the allowable voltage range. The application of the writing voltage to the nonvolatile memory enables a multi-time programming (MTP) operation in which reference data writes to the nonvolatile memory.

A method of detecting an error of a multi-time programmable (MTP) operation in which each gamma-offset and each header-bit at predetermined reference gray-levels are written in a MTP memory device while the MTP operation is performed on a pixel circuit, the each header-bit indicating whether or not the each gamma-offset is written in the MTP memory device, and it is detected whether or not the MTP operation is performed on the pixel circuit based on a logical operation between the header-bits at the predetermined reference gray-levels read from the MTP memory device when the MTP operation is finished on the pixel circuit.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) and a driving method thereof. The LCD includes: a liquid crystal panel which includes a plurality of pixels formed in intersection areas between a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines, wherein a pair of adjacent pixels share the same data line and are located between a pair of gate lines; a common voltage generator which shifts and outputs a common voltage signal having a polarity, which is reversed one time for a period time and repeated consecutively two time for a &#xbd; period time, for a predetermined time; and a source driver which synchronizes a data signal of a line inversion system with an output timing of the common voltage signal and outputs the data signal to an opposite polarity to a polarity of the common voltage signal to drive the plurality of pixels in a dot inversion system.
