A display device includes: a display panel having a first area, a second area spaced apart from the first area in a first direction, and a bending area between the first area and the second area; a polarization layer in the first area on the display panel; and a bending protection layer on the display panel and including: a pre-formed bending protection layer spaced apart from the polarization layer in the first direction; a first post-formed bending protection layer between the polarization layer and the pre-formed bending protection layer; and a second post-formed bending protection layer spaced apart from the first post-formed bending protection layer with the pre-formed bending protection layer interposed therebetween.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes a substrate that includes a bending area, a display active layer disposed on the substrate and that displays an image, a polarization layer disposed on the display active layer, a protective layer that contacts an end of the polarization layer and covers the bending area of the substrate; and an adhesive layer disposed on a boundary between the polarization layer and the protective layer, the adhesive layer extends from the end of the polarization layer toward the bending area by an extension area to overlap a portion of the protective layer.

An organic light emitting display device includes a display panel including a display region where a plurality of pixels are disposed, a pad region including a bending region and a pad electrode region where pad electrodes are disposed, a polarizing layer disposed in the display region, and a lower protection film disposed on a lower surface of the display panel. The lower protection film includes a first and a second lower protection film pattern. The first lower protection film pattern is disposed in the display region, and the second lower protection film pattern in the pad electrode region such that a lower surface of the display panel in the bending region is exposed. The bending protection layer has an upper surface with a height that is less than a height of the polarizing layer, and is disposed in the bending region on the display panel.

Organic light emitting display device

A display device includes a display panel and a signal transmission film including a first extension portion, a second extension portion, and a first dummy pattern. The signal transmission film is connected to one side of the display panel. The first extension portion extends in a first direction, and a first contact hole is formed at a first side of the first extension portion. The second extension portion extends from the first side of the first extension portion in a second direction which is different from the first direction. The first dummy pattern is disposed adjacent to the first contact hole at the first side.

A display apparatus includes a flexible panel including a first non-bending area, a second non-bending area spaced apart from the first non-bending area, and a bending area between the first non-bending area and the second non-bending area, a circuit film having an opening at a first end of thereof and disposed on the second non-bending area of the flexible panel, an anisotropic conductive film disposed between the flexible panel and the circuit film, and a protective layer disposed on the bending area and covering at least a portion of the first end of the circuit film.

A display device includes a display panel that includes a flat part and a protruding part adjacent to one side of the flat part, a touch panel disposed on the display panel, a touch connection circuit board disposed at one side of the touch panel and electrically connected to the touch panel, and a protective layer disposed on one surface of the touch connection circuit board and that overlaps the protruding part. The protective layer covers the line pattern section between the first and second dummy patterns.

A display apparatus includes a display panel including: a bending region having a curvature region and a facing region adjacent to the curvature region; and a non-bending region adjacent to the bending region and spaced apart from the facing region. The curvature region is disposed between the facing region and the non-bending region. The display apparatus further includes: a first protective member disposed in the non-bending region; a flexible circuit board connected to the display panel in the facing region; a stress relief member disposed in the curvature region; and an adhesive member disposed in the facing region. The adhesive member has a higher modulus of elasticity than that of the stress relief member and is coupled to the flexible circuit board.

A display apparatus includes a touch screen panel having an active area and a non-active area. The touch screen panel includes a first side and a second side. A display flexible printed circuit board is connected to the touch screen panel. The display flexible printed circuit board at least partially overlaps the first side of the touch screen panel. A touch flexible printed circuit board is connected to the touch screen panel. The touch flexible printed circuit board at least partially overlaps the second side of the touch screen panel.
