A machine is provided. The machine has a forward direction of travel and includes a frame, at least one lift arm, a first torsion axle assembly, an undercarriage, and an endless track. The lift arm is pivotally attached to the frame. The first torsion axle assembly is attached to the frame and includes a first torsion arm, a first torsion shaft, and a first axle, with the first torsion shaft and the first axle extending from the first torsion arm. The undercarriage is attached to the first torsion axle assembly and the endless track encircles the undercarriage. One of the first torsion shaft and the first axle is attached to the frame and the other of the first torsion shaft and the first axle is attached to the undercarriage. The first torsion arm extends upward from the frame at an angle between 90 and 180 degrees from the forward direction of travel.

Suspension for a machine

An EGR valve assembly for an internal combustion engine includes a check valve which allows the use of EGR under conditions where the average pressure of exhaust gases in the exhaust manifold is less than the average pressure of air in the intake manifold. The check valve allows pressure pulses in the exhaust manifold to advance exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold while preventing the back flow of air from the intake manifold to the exhaust manifold. The EGR valve assembly further includes a housing defining a chamber. The housing further defines a housing outlet and a housing inlet both which are fluid communication with the chamber. The valve assembly further includes a master valve positioned within the chamber. The master valve is positionable between a first master position and a second master position. The check valve is (1) movable between a first check position and a second check position when the master valve is positioned in the second master position, and (2) maintained in the first check position when the master valve is positioned in the first master position. A method of controlling a flow of engine exhaust in an internal combustion engine is also disclosed.

Exhaust gas recirculation valve assembly having an integrated check valve

An engine assembly includes a valve assembly which selectively enables exhaust gas to be recirculated from an engine exhaust outlet to an engine air inlet. The valve assembly is positionable between a first valve position and a second valve position. The engine exhaust outlet is isolated from the engine air inlet when the valve assembly is positioned in the first valve position. The engine exhaust outlet is in fluid communication with the engine air inlet when the valve assembly is positioned in the second valve position. Operational pressure generated by the injector oil pump of the engine assembly is used to move the valve assembly from the first valve position to the second valve position. A method of controlling a flow of engine exhaust in an internal combustion engine is also disclosed.
