A method of manufacturing an electrode for secondary battery is provided. The method includes melting lithium at a first temperature to produce a first melt; stirring a metal fluoride powder together with the first melt at a second temperature to produce a second melt; and producing a lithium alloy electrode with the second melt, wherein the lithium alloy electrode includes lithium fluoride.

Disclosed is a separator for a lithium-sulfur battery and a lithium-sulfur battery including the same. In particular, disclosed is a separator for a lithium-sulfur battery including a porous substrate and an inorganic coating layer present on at least one surface of the porous substrate wherein the inorganic coating layer includes a modified montmorillonite substituted with at least one specific ion. The separator may include a uniform inorganic coating layer by including a modified montmorillonite, and thus adsorbs lithium polysulfide, thereby improving the capacity and lifetime characteristics of the lithium-sulfur battery.

Discussed is a separator for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery including the same, more specifically, a separator for a lithium secondary battery including a porous substrate and a coating layer on at least one surface of the porous substrate, wherein the coating layer includes a defect-containing molybdenum disulfide. The separator for lithium secondary battery adsorbs lithium polysulfide through the coating layer comprising the defect-containing molybdenum disulfide and suppresses the growth of a lithium dendrite, thereby improving the capacity and lifetime characteristics of the lithium secondary battery.
