Disclosed is an AC source direct driving LED lighting device. The device including: a light emitting unit which has a first electrolytic capacitor and receives a rectified alternating current (AC) voltage to adjust a first constant current and emits an LED array; a charging/discharging unit which receives the adjusted first constant current to be adjusted to second to fourth constant currents and charges/discharges second to fourth electrolytic capacitors embedded therein, respectively; a discharge LED path unit which forms a path through which a voltage charged in the charging/discharging unit is discharged to the light emitting unit; and a current driving unit which receives the adjusted first to fourth constant currents to form first to fourth channel using first to fourth reference voltages and controls current transfer.

Alternating current source direct driving LED lighting device

The present inventions presents an LED lighting device for preventing flickering. The device comprises: a rectification unit receiving an alternating current voltage applied from an alternating current power source and rectifying the same so as to output a direct current; a first light-emitting unit receiving the direct current applied thereto and adjusting a first constant current so as to make a first LED array emit light; a second light-emitting unit receiving the adjusted first constant current applied thereto and adjusting a second constant current so as to make a second LED array emit light; and a serial switching unit receiving the direct current and the adjusted first and second constant currents applied thereto so as to control current transmission according to the opening/closing of a plurality of embedded transistors, wherein the direct current and the first constant current, which are to be applied, are applied by passing through first and second diodes, respectively.

LED lighting device for preventing flickering

The purpose of the present invention is to reduce heat generated through a switching IC circuit in order to protect a switching IC circuit by connecting a resistor to an LED unit in which a plurality of LEDs are connected so as to disperse heat in the resistor when a rated voltage or more is inputted. To this end, the LED lighting device comprises: a rectification circuit unit for receiving input power from a power source unit and outputting a rectified power; an LED unit having a plurality of LED channels connected in series and a resistor unit connected to the last end of the LED channels; a current sensing resistor; and a switch circuit unit comprising a plurality of switches, wherein an nth switch is connected to the rear end of an nth LED channel so as to control an operation of the nth LED channel and is controlled by a sum of a current of the nth switch and a current of an (n+1)th switch, which flows through the current sensing resistor.

LED lighting device

A light emitting diode (LED) lighting device includes a circuit for receiving an input power from a power source and outputting a rectified power, an LED unit including a plurality of LED channels connected in series, each LED channel having a front end and a rear end, a current sensing resistor, and a switch circuit unit. The switch circuit unit includes a plurality of switches, and an Nswitch is connected to the rear end of an NLED channel so as to control an operation of the nth LED channel, and is controlled by a sum of a current of the Nswitch and a current of an (N+1)switch, which flows through the current sensing resistor. Forward voltages of the LED channels are unevenly redistributed so as to keep power consumption between the Nswitch and the (N+1)switch substantially same, and N is a positive integer.

A free voltage LED driving device with a high luminous uniformity ratio includes a rectifying device for rectifying an AC voltage applied thereto from outside and outputting a DC voltage; a plurality of LED array parts to have the DC voltage applied thereto to emit light emitting diodes; a plurality of current drain switching devices to have current that is output from each of the plurality of LED array parts applied thereto, outputting a plurality of currents having a drain current value; a series type switching device controlling a transfer of current according to an opening and closing of a plurality of built-in transistors; a current control variable resistance part for varying and adjusting a resistance value so that power is output in a constant manner when the applied AC voltage changes; and a voltage detecting circuit part to detect the DC voltage.

Free voltage LED driving device with high luminous uniformity ratio

An LED lighting device comprises: a rectification circuit unit for receiving input power from a power source unit and outputting a rectified power; an LED unit having a plurality of LED channels connected in series and a resistor unit connected to the last end of the LED channels; a current sensing resistor; and a switch circuit unit comprising a plurality of switches, wherein an nth switch is connected to the rear end of an nth LED channel so as to control an operation of the nth LED channel and is controlled by a sum of a current of the nth switch and a current of an (n+1)th switch, which flows through the current sensing resistor.

A light emitting diode includes an n-GaN layer on a substrate, an active layer exposing a part of the n-GaN layer, a p-GaN layer on the active layer, a cathode contacting the exposed n-GaN layer and extending from one side of the active layer toward the other side, and an anode formed on the p-GaN layer and including a plurality of sub-electrodes spaced apart from both sides of the cathode and an edge of the active layer at the same distance.
