A package includes a main unit having formed therein a through hole that penetrates the package from a first surface to a second surface; and a connection terminal that is provided inside the through hole. The second surface is a bottom surface of the main unit, and has an electric circuit incorporated therein. The connection terminal is electrically connected to the electric circuit incorporated in the main unit, and configured to be contactable by an insertion target that is inserted in the through hole from a side of an inserting direction.

A logic circuit for board power-supply evaluation to be incorporated into a logic device loaded on a product board includes a circuit that simulates an operation of the logic device so that utilization rate is variable at an arbitrary frequency by use of a predetermined circuit in all available logic elements of the logic device; a circuit that judges normality/abnormality of an operation of the operation simulation circuit; a utilization control circuit that varies and controls utilization rate of the logic device by controlling execution of an operation of the operation simulation circuit based on a judgement result of the operation judgement circuit and sets a utilization rate when the operation simulation circuit is instructed to stop the operation; and a utilization output circuit that outputs the judgement result of the operation judgement circuit and the utilization rate set by the utilization control circuit to the outside.

Upon a transient analysis simulation, if a time step between calculation points is relatively small, a forced quit error occurs, which leads to deterioration of development efficiency. A voltage v.sub.n at a calculation point t.sub.n is obtained by solving a circuit equation. A change rate in the voltage v.sub.n in a step [t.sub.n-1, t.sub.n ] is assumed to be maintained in another step [t.sub.n, t.sub.n+1 ], and a calculation point t.sub.n+1 is temporarily determined so that v.sub.n+1 -v.sub.n is equal to a predetermined value .DELTA.v. The step t.sub.n+1 -t.sub.n is then judged if it falls within a dynamic range of a computer. If the step does not fall within the dynamic range, the calculation point t.sub.n is moved backward by a predetermined decrement, and the procedure is re-performed. If t.sub.n+1 -t.sub.n falls within the dynamic range, a voltage at the calculation point t.sub.n+1 is calculated.
