A light source apparatus for an endoscope, which has a lamp, a power source, a light adjustment control module that controls power to be supplied to the lamp within a range not more than an upper limit power based on a brightness instruction signal, and a continuous lighting sensing module that measures a continuous lighting time period from time when the lamp shifts from being extinguished to being lighted, compares the continuous lighting time period with a predetermined upper limit time period, and initializes the continuous lighting time period while the lamp is extinguished, wherein the upper limit power is set to a first upper limit power when the continuous lighting time period has not reached the upper limit time period, and changed to a second upper limit power lower than the first upper limit power in a stepwise manner when the upper limit time period has not been reached.

Light source apparatus for endoscope and control method for light source apparatus for endoscope

A light source apparatus includes: a lamp replacement door configured to open and close a lamp replacement window; an igniter replacement door configured to open and close an igniter replacement window which is opened at a position different from the position of the lamp replacement window; a door opening detection switch configured to detect the opening and closing of the lamp replacement door; a circuit breaker device configured, when the opening state of the lamp replacement door is detected by the door opening detection switch, to interrupt power supply to an electric circuit; and a door opening regulation mechanism configured to lock the closing state of the igniter replacement door, and configured to permit the opening of the igniter replacement door.

Light source apparatus

A light source device includes a light-condensing device that condenses an illumination light that is emitted from a light source lamp. The light-condensing device includes at least one lens, a lens holder in which a lens is fixedly provided, and a lens holding member. The lens holding member is a member for fixing a lens to the lens holder. The lens holding member causes at least one circumferential portion of the lens to protrude to the lens holder side, and causes the optical axis of the lens to match the optical axis of the illumination light.

Light source device

A light source device includes a light source lamp, a rotary plate, a heat absorbing portion, and a filter mounting member. The light source lamp emits illumination light. The rotary plate includes multiple opening portions that are selectively disposed in the illumination light path of the light source lamp. A reflective filter that reflects light of a wavelength that acts a heat source in illumination light is provided in one of the multiple opening portions of the rotary plate. The heat absorbing portion absorbs heat included in reflected light reflected by the reflective filter in the opening portion. The filter mounting member disposes the reflective filter in the opening portion at a predetermined angle of inclination to the optical axis of the illumination light. By disposing the inclined reflective filter in the illumination light path, reflected light reflected by the reflective filter is reflected towards the heat absorbing portion.

An endoscope system comprises a plurality of endoscope components including at least one endoscope light source apparatus for supplying illumination light to an endoscope and at least one video signal processing unit for processing video signals provided by the endoscope, a main control unit for controlling the plurality of endoscope system components, and a main operational instruction unit connected to the main control unit and used to operate the plurality of endoscope system components. The main operational instruction unit includes a display capable of selectively displaying operational instruction input screens associated with functions possessed by the plurality of endoscope system components.

An endoscope system has an endoscope equipped with an imaging unit, and a plurality of peripheral equipment used in conjunction with the endoscope; such as, a light source for supplying illumination light to the endoscope and a video signal processor for processing a video signal originating from the endoscope, comprising a centralized operation unit for operating at least the light source and video signal processor and a centralized control for centralizing control of the light source and video signal processor based on a command sent from the centralized operation unit.

An endoscope examination system of the present invention consisting of a centralized controlling apparatus, a plurality of auxiliary functioning apparatuses and a plurality of workstations. The centralized controlling apparatus comprises a computer which controls each of the auxiliary apparatuses or the like and a switching apparatus which controls a changeover of picture image information transmitted to the auxiliary functioning apparatuses. The plurality of auxiliary functioning apparatuses comprise a computer which exchanges control information with the computer of the centralized controlling apparatus and with the workstations, a switching apparatus which exchanges picture image information with the switching apparatus of the centralized controlling apparatus and with the workstations, and a VTR which records the picture image information. The workstations are provided with a computer which exchanges control information with the computer of the auxiliary functioning apparatuses or of the centralized controlling apparatus and a switching apparatus which exchanges picture image information with the switching apparatus of the auxiliary functioning apparatuses or of the centralized controlling apparatus.

Endoscope examination system for processing endoscope picture image

A holding apparatus for holding at least an operational part of an endoscope is provided as a removable unit of an endoscope system storage rack. An endoscope storage case in which an insertion tube of an endoscope hung on the holding apparatus is removably provided in the storage rack below the holding apparatus. The endoscope storage case stores at least a used endoscope.
