To provide a nonionic powdery detergent free from oozing of a liquid nonionic surfactant at ambient temperature and having excellent powder fluidity and non-caking properties and a solubility which is not deteriorated with time. The nonionic powdery detergent composition comprises (a) 12 to 35% by weight of a nonionic surfactant having a melting point of not higher than 40.degree. C. and an HLB in the range of 9.0 to 16.0, (b) 10 to 60% by weight of a crystalline aluminosilicate and (c) 5 to 20% by weight of an amorphous oil-absorbing carrier containing at least 30% by weight of silicon (in terms of SiO.sub.2) versus the weight of said carrier in an anhydrous state and having an oil-absorbing capacity of at least 80 ml/100 g, said carrier giving a dispersion with a pH of at least 9 or being soluble in a 2% aqueous NaOH solution in an amount of 0.5 g or below.

Nonionic powdery detergent composition containing an aluminosilicate

A nonionic powdery detergent composition which is free from bleeding of a nonionic surfactant, does not exhibit any deterioration in its solubility even after the passage of time and has an excellent detergency against a fatty acid soil, which comprises 12 to 50% by weight of (a) a nonionic surfactant having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or below, 3 to 60% by weight of (b) a specified crystalline layer silicate, and 5 to 30% by weight of (c) a porous oil-absorbent carrier having an oil absorbability of 80 ml/100 g or more, and a process for producing the nonionic powdery detergent composition.

Nonionic powdery detergent composition

A nonionic powdery detergent composition which does not cause any deterioration in the solubility even after storage for a long period of time, comprising (a) 12 to 35% by weight of a nonionic surfactant having specified properties, (b) 5 to 60% by weight of a water-soluble chelating agent, (c) 5 to 20% by weight of an oil-absorbent carrier having specified properties and (d) 2 to 40% by weight of an alkali metal carbonate, and having a water-soluble alkali metal silicate content of less than 5% by weight. This nonionic powdery detergent composition is produced by adding the nonionic surfactant (a) to a mixture comprising the components (b), (c) and (d).

A stable sodium percarbonate particle that at least the inside of the particle is penetrated and coated with a borate and a process for preparing the same are disclosed. The sodium percarbonate particle of the invention is preparesd by subjecting a dried sodium percarbonate particle and an aqueous solution of a borate to solid-liquid mixing and then drying the mixture.

A stable sodium percarbonate having excellent stability when incorporated into a bleaching agent composition or a detergent composition, particularly a zeolite-containing detergent composition. The stable sodium percarbonate is produced by a process which comprises a step of treating sodium percarbonate on the surface with at least one coating agent selected from the group (A) consisting of boric acids, borates and alkali metal silicates and at least one coating agent selected from the group (B) consisting of carbonates, hydrogencarbonates and sulfates, and at least one coating agent selected from the group consisting of coating agents belonging to groups (A) and (B) being present in the form of an aqueous coating slurry thereof.

Stable slurry-coated sodium percarbonate, process for producing the same
